Campfire Stories - Cape York, Ussher Point Recovery |  

All of us 4WDers and overlanders have a lifetime's worth of stories to tell. This is what Campfire Stories is all about. This story takes place in mid-2023 when my partner, and a friend of ours went on an adventure to the very northernmost tip of Australia, Cape York, and the recovery operation that followed when we got hopelessly bogged on a disused, remote, soft, sandy track with a 45° incline , half way down a cliff with waves crashing on to the rocks far below.
