A short camping journey through the stunning landscapes of the Scottish Highlands. My adventure begins with a visit to Grey Mare's Tail and the historic Mamore Lodge in Kinlochleven, where the natural beauty of the area immediately sets the tone for the trip.
After soaking in the sights, I headed to the magnificent Steall Waterfall in the Ben Nevis Range for a peaceful night of camping. The evening blessed me with a clear sky, allowing me to capture the mesmerising Milky Way and twinkling stars above. It was truly a magical experience under the Highland sky.
The next morning, I woke up to a dreamy, foggy landscape-a breathtaking sight that felt like something out of a fairytale. 🌫️
However, one thing I didn't expect was the sheer number of midges! 🦟 I was bitten a lot, and trust me, if you're planning on camping in this area, I highly recommend bringing an insect face net to keep those pesky bugs away.
