Camping alone in a car during a heatwave 

I don’t blame you for camping despite the heat. It’s such a wonderful experience.

You cracked me up when you asked about walking around naked. Have you ever hit the nude beach in FL? It's so freeing! Thanks for showing us how you handled the heat and still enjoyed camping in your rig. Hopefully we'll be able to camp & hike together when I make it to GA late Summer / early Fall. I really like this park! Honestly, I minimize coming out at the heat of the day and make sure I'm hydrated. If I can get out early and stay out after the sun goes down I'm a happy camper.

Kai! I think I know where you are in this video. In fact, I once booked that same site! The ones on the other side are so big next to the river. And on the map, it looked to me like number six was too. But when I got there, it was tiny and on the corner next to the traffic. We live over in Newton County. And we have an absolutely gorgeous trail here. It’s very shaded. My friend and I walk up to 7 miles at a time on it! I have a Honda CRV, completely turned into a camper in the back. I own way too much camping equipment. If you live nearby and you ever want to meet up for a coffee and talk about adventures, I would love that. Maybe in downtown Covington. -Hollie

I walk and ride my bike early in the day. This summer in Georgia has been like no other. I'll restart camping in the fall. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
