If this was TV, those hook-ups would have been shown to us in the promo's, in the opening sequence and flashed in between every other scene, by the time the actual hook-up happened we'd have been sick of seeing it. As it was, both takes had me more excited and entertained than any TV fishing show I've come across. Quality footage and a genuine atmosphere of not just mates but mates with a common goal, all totally invested in the moment. I fking love it mate, thanks for uploading. Yeah I can appreciate it's a difficult one, on the one hand you want to hook (lol) the viewer in the first couple of minutes to get them to commit to a 40 minute video, but on the other hand, the takes were that much more dramatic because I/ we/ the viewer hadn't already seen them. When you all cast out together my heart was in my mouth so to speak because I know how exciting situations like that are and I didn't know what was going to happen, just like when I'm actually fishing! Careful tailoring your content to please me tho, I'm a fkin weirdo, you might alienate the normies!
