BLITZ AND I HEAD TO KOOTENAI FALLS AND CROSS THE SWINGING BRIDGE TO DO OUR FINAL HIKE OF THE 2024 SEASON. WE THOUGHT WE WERE DONE AT CODY LAKES, HOWEVER, I BURNT A PITA PIZZA AND I WANTED REDEMPTION. NOT ONLY DID I HAVE TO BUILD A FIRERING (AGAIN) I BUILT A STONE PIZZA OVEN.
IT HAS BEEN A HELL OF A SEASON! HECK, BLITZ AND I ARE ALREADY PLANNING THE 2024 SEASON.

oh wow! It's an honor to have a comment from you good sir. Made my day. Yeah it seemed like season 4 I started figuring things out and putting the pieces together. It's not all there yet...but every video a step closer to making it happen.

Oh man Trav! Thought I was gonna need an oxygen tank for the gain on this one. The river is a dangerous place if a person's not careful. Almost left Blitz at home. At night I tied him up because I didn't want him either to fall off the cliff we were next to or go to get drink and drowned. PIZZA was awesome and the oven build was worth it.

That pizza looked DELICIOUS!!.... Your video editing skills are second to NONE.... There's no way you filmed all those angles by yourself... HAD to be a 3rd person on that overnight assisting with that.... Not trying to kiss ass TOO much, but you're very skilled on multiple levels... even your impersonations at the end.... VERY well done!!

Ahhh man thanks! Yes all done by me and it takes time to do the multi angle shots..thats what's nice about shorter hikes is I have time to experiment. I remember as a little kid I saw Rich Little on the TV and was just fascinated by him, I think it was in I was in 2nd grade i used to run around doing Jimmy Carter. Lol!

Another fine video man, your editing skills are awesome! Can’t tell you what those shrooms are (you’re nimby) but I can’t believe you guys still have healthy fresh fungi out there. Couldn’t place the fresh yak milk reference, Kramer? Another mystery is how you found a site to set up camp made a fire ring and a pizza oven all after you said you were running out of daylight. I am impressed by your dedication to early winter camping!

Thanks, man! After the drone incident, I bailed on my 1st attempt.. So your kinda seeing 2 different days. Movie magic. Oh yeah that Yaak milk...I have a whole bit about Yaak Milk. I just woke up so I couldn't hit my Kramer very well. Actually all my impressions were off, I haven't been practicing like I used too. Booo on me!

Yummy pizza! That looks like a pretty good place to camp for in the winter. I like it. We have squirrels living in the trees in our backyard, and our dog loves to chase them. Lol. Is that true about the eyes? I did not know that.

It's pretty easy to build. Mine was a rush job ...ideally u want to make sure there is no gaps to let the heat out. I went around the outside and placed more rocks to help retain the heat. Also for the upper chamber, bring aluminum foil to cover the opening or place a big rock in front of it to hold the heat. It's definitely a cool and easy build . I have a feeling you will be purchasing a drone soon. Lol!

@@hyoh-wu thank you! I'll have to try it out 😆 You have no idea how long I've been wanting to buy a drone! I wish they weren't so freakin expensive hahaa. I told myself I'll buy a drone when I reach 1000 subscribers on RU-vid, so it might be a while 😅

That's a good goal! You will probaly get there within a year. March 2024 will be my 5th year and Im not there yet. However, I dont promote my channel. Meaning I don't do Facebook, Instagram, X or another social media. Anyway, When you do get buy a drone be sure you get one that has object avoidance. My 1st drone didn't, and when I tapped return to home it crashed into the side of a mountain.

@@hyoh-wu Thank you for the encouragement, it would be amazing to meet my goal within a year! I'm thinking of buying a DJI mini 3 pro or the Mavic 3. I think they both have object avoidance.

I have the mini 3 pro, and it works great. The reviews of the mini 4 pro have not been good, but they may have updated the firmware now and resolved the issues. When it comes to gear anymore, I just try to buy it right the 1st time. Otherwise it ends up sucking and I spend the money getting what I originally wanted.So I basically wasted money . I have toats full of camping gear and film gear that just sits because of this. Ugh!

Remember the Biscuit 1 cafe on mineral avenue? I see it's been closed for years now breakfast not served there for sure. Good video, crossed the old swinging bridge many times at the falls.

Oh man, that must have been while I was living out of state. I do remember the White Knight Pub. They had awesome clam chowder. Yep when I was kid I spent a lot of time across that bridge. When I was like in 1st grade a wood tick burrowed in my scalp and I got super sick. Spring time, I won't even go down there, wood ticks are super bad.

He is 100% fluffball! He actually is 100% Alaskan Malamute. I really lucked out when I adopted him. If you go through my videos, there is one called Meet Blitz and it shows our first couple of days together. Then I did a Video Called a Video for my best friend....which is more sappy...and kinda covers our 1st season hiking. Thanksgiving was good. Very quiet....and I didn't even stuff my self. How was yours?
