In this video 2 of my lifelong friends and I hit an Eastern North Carolina River in search of several different species in a weekend of camping. Bream Fishing is King in eastern North Carolina as they grow big in the swamp waters here so Bream fishing would be done during the day along with Bowfin fishing and in the evenings we would fish for catfish.

Those were some beastly fish, even the panfish. They grow big in Eastern NC. Great adventure Mack.

Those were some trophy bream! Wow! Huge! I usually float fish for bream to avoid snags--do you lose many rigs fishing on the bottom? Certainly can't argue with your results! I have caught bowfin on cut bait while catfishing, but never thought of it as a go-to technique--that was a big, beautiful bowfin! Sorry the cats didn't cooperate, but there are certainly some big ones there to be caught! Fish on, fishmeister--I'll be watching!

thanks for watching Joe! I do lose a few rigs bit the double dropper rig out fishes a cork most of the time. I love to see a cork go under but I catch more fish on bottom with a tight line.

Great job..... what part of the neuse are y’all fishing.... I’m trying to get some info on turkey quarter, core creek. And pitchkettle areas.... new sub by the way.... keep up the good work , may see you on the river
