I have a question for you, is the wildcat canyon trail still there, it was near the group camping area, we haven't been there in so many years, we used to go every year when i was young, thanks, Dave
Hey Dave! Yeah I’m pretty sure the trail you’re talking about is still there. I used to go to SPTSP all the time in summer camp as a kid, so it was fun going back and camping somewhere about a half hours’ drive from my house as an adult and seeing the place from another perspective. @@brendansoutdoors377 Thanks for the reply, my friend and I went to the very top of the trail, about 4 p.m before dinner, at the very top it was so quiet, no more campground noise at all, then we heard a very loud scream, sounded like a woman getting killed! it was a mountain lion, Yikes, we started running down the hill 1/2 of the time sliding on our rear ends, we told the ranger at the campfire which used to be every night, and he said there were some reports of one in the area, such great times there.
@@brendansoutdoors377 YOU ARE QUITE LUCKY, IF I LIVED THAT CLOSE I'D BE THERE EVERY SUMMER, WHEN I WAS YOUNG WE LIVED IN DALY CITY, DUBLIN, LIVERMORE AND SAN RAMON.
