Nice fight against the wind , it was relentless . Your rapidity saved your tent from burning , that was a close call ! Maybe you should consider making pegs from branches , longer and wider than your metal ones when the wind hits hard. Thanks for the video , be safe !
Friend, you need to better fix the supports on the four sides. Keep it firmly on the ground.....otherwise the wind will take everything and you'll be left without a tent, and wet!😎

Since got strong wind, u should change front tarp to be lower..it can't be wide opened. Otherwise, the pegs also can't stay hold the tarp pole. Tarp will flying over.

In those conditions i dont understand why you would put your tarp and tent where you did, its a recipe for disaster, the wind would be flying thru there. You should have found a more sheltered spot by trees that would block the wind a it and give you a more comfrotable campsite
@@miked1765 everyone knows about widow makers, but if you look to the left of the camp there is small trees that would not be a problem. Furthermore, all it would take is a small amount of looking to find a more suitable spot away from the excessive wind, widowmakers and any other hazzards
Jay Gilroy how was he supposed to know that the weather was going to turn out like that I'm just wondering because I always thought the weather could change in a instead is there a specific way to know it was going to happen like it did
@@mymusic-cq2vi It goes back to the point i made about a more sheltered spot to make a campsite. Choosing such a spot to make camp have been better because of unexpected weather. Like you just said, how was he meant to know? exactly. and that is why you choose a good spot in the firt place because weather can turn fast and if he would have chosen a better spot it would have been a much better campsite, and safer
