In the end a great tarp shelter. I do not know about climbing wet trees but he got it up there. After that all that mud would hamper me to camp. Shelter concept is genuis. I could really enjoy the sound of the rain on that tarp. With a groud sheet of some sort I would hang. The car is cool. remeber the Bugs in my day.
Unless I miss my guess, that is a 1969 Beetle! Had one just like it, painted that same bright yellow, inside and out, including the engine compartment and trunk😮😮

Camping is whatever you want it to be...like when I was a kid and I made a "blanket tent" with a rope tied between two chairs and a blanket thrown over it. Camping is just a place to be and hide from the world while enjoying God's nature.
