It's Uvurkhangai province. I think I'm not missing my hometown but when I watched this blog suddenly I'm crying because I live in abroad 10 years. Thank you so much guys.❤❤
Looks like you were on on a total Mongolian safari complete with diversified landscapes and wildlife, even some camel yoga 🤣. Mongolia is truly a beautiful destination worth putting on a must see list. I really enjoy these free form overland videos as it showcases more of the area you are traveling through and all the impromptu stops or activities.
Thank you! We really enjoyed putting this style of video together. Hopefully we can capture more videos like this during the drive through Central America
So surprising to see so much green! Your watchers seem to be really attracted to explaining so much about Mongolia. Thank you to them for such good explanations!
This experience is so extraordinary as the both of you have the entire plains to yourselves in the middle of the Mongolian wilderness. And those drone shots are amazing!😊
Waking up to the camels and seeing that lush landscape has me thinking that you’ve been transported back to Earth thousands of years ago, when the human footprint was so small on this planet.
Omg. Thank you so much. I subscribed and you all watched it in my wonderful country. I came to the realization of how much I miss my country. I have lived for the past 5 years in Gran canary, Spain. I need to go home I would like to extend our warm welcome to the western and northern parts of Mongolia. 🇲🇳 🇲🇳 🇲🇳 It seems that you both had amazing experiences together.❤❤❤
Ok, so as promised comments at the end: As always, watched your videos on one breath, except for minutes writing some info, I hope you don't mind me writing some explanations on this particular vlog! You guys are champions, so well done you guys, excellent drone shoots, scenary, timing, so funny and honest, and most of all incredibly sweet couple with beautiful hearts ))) ❤❤❤ Please, do visit again, our beautiful Mongolia ))) Best of luck guys and safe trips in the future ... 🙏☘️😎
That lake Ugii is very rich with fishes, as well as any other lakes and rivers in Mongolia, our neighbours sometimes visit our country just for fishing, coz they literally "swarming" with fish, and Mongolians, due to religion, fish very little, except for city lads!! By the way right now, literaly today tomorrow, that lake (Ugii) is holding, "Winter Fishing World Championship" tournament ))) 😊❤ Delegates from all around the WORLD !!! During socialist days, Ugii lake used to be a fish farming lake, famous for it"s "bass", "pike" and exetera ... )))
Throughout the history us mongolians always valued, protected, maintain vastness of our land and tried to think big and peacefull like it. That is why many things in our culture are attached to idea of being "big and vast" like our traditional long songs(other music), dances, tales etc. Also its very wholesome and intresting to see how foreigners think about our land, amd happy traveling!!! :>❤
The vastness and peacefulness of your land definitely shines through. We felt it everywhere we dove in Mongolia. It is such a beautiful place, we cannot wait to come back one day!
Hi guys! Watching you again, actually was waiting for it )) Just started it, but wanted to comment straight away, before loosing the string! Will comment again at the end )) But for this part, would like to name it: "Camels are doing their morning exersize, or stretching" ...😊😂😂 Or thats how camels "evolutionized" into GIRAFFE ... 😂😂❤
That boy galloping on the horse is actually other way around from what Mico said, it is not him getting trained (the boy), but training the horse, or getting ready/preparing for the NAADAM festival horse racing ))) Horse is getting a gym session, 😅😊, will sweat a lot, and after the training, the horseman (owner) with a special wooden "sword", will scrape away the sweat ))) Getting in shape basically!!
Reindeer herders called Tsaatan family or tribe in far north west of Mongolia, They re One of the last remaining groups of nomadic reindeer herders in Mongolia I’m suggesting you guys to visit, won’t regret it 😊
In post-Mongol empire period, Kharkorum city was invaded and destroyed completely by Ming dynasty of china and what you see today is not the remains of the that old city but Buddhist temple which was built around the post-Mongol empire or period of great civil wars. Only thing that remained from the old city now is some archaeological sites of that city.
You eat good at camp! And that rental guy really set you up well with gear. Loving this entire adventure SO MUCH! ❤ PS Apologies if I missed it, but were you using Google Maps or something, and did you have cell service way out there? PPS You can always pee right next to the car behind the door for a little coverage! My FJ has suicide doors which are even better, but they only come down so far… 😂
Thanks so much for the lovely comment! We're so glad to hear you enjoyed this adventure. In case it wasn't obvious from the video, we loved it too 😂 We are actually going to release a Mongolia travel tips video next Saturday and we'll talk about these questions. But to give you some quick answers - we used Google Maps and downloaded the offline maps for the region, and we had spotty service during the trip. The service was better than expected, but we had long stretches of time without any connection. Thanks for the suggestion on the washroom situation btw 😂😂
Well, they’re certainly not fenced in! 😂 It’s so cool to see them free like in some of the western US states, but here in the southeast they’re definitely contained - unless something goes wrong. haha
Haha you're so right! Where we're from, we never seen any animals roaming freely, including livestock, so the Mongolian livestock feel like wild animals to us 😂😊
@@dismas8884 Yep, that’s why I said it was cool to see them roaming, and I know the paint identifies the owners. (I was raised on a farm.) Here in the US, animals out west are branded since they’re often not fenced, but here in the southeast they usually have ear tags so if they escape the fence they can still be identified.
Hey guys, thanks for the video. Just wondering where you have hired your car from. If you could share us some information abt your rental car or direct link, it would be awesome. Cheers
Hey! We rented the vehicle from eternal nomads. If you head to the description of the video before this one (which covers the first day of this road trip) the WhatsApp number is in there 😊
That is NOT an ancient Kharkhorum, that just an old "ruins" of an old Erdene Zuu monastery, (before the Communists, had almost 60 temples with in the walls or complex) which was built at the gates of an ancient city Khorkhorum, actual size of a city was almost 16-17 times bigger than whole monastery compound, and was built (monastery complex) out of left over ruin materials of an ancient city Kharkhorum! If you visit, Kharkhorum museum, not so far from there, you will see the actual city size model dummies compared to the Erdene Zuu monastery )))
