Camped Smith several years ago and was i n awe of the giant trees and all the beauty! Wish could return but now lvng n Memphis and the distance makes it difficult to do but the memories are here forever. Thanks for the post and video
Tx for bringing us along Edward. I grew up in Eureka so it was nice to see some of my old stompin' grounds. The Redwoods will always be home to me. Back in the Scouting days we would camp all over NW Cali. Subbed.
*Edward Shin* Amazing camera work, editing and video style. Very professional and polished-its only going to be a short time before you have 100,000 subscribers. Keep doing what you love, it shows.
Really love the scenery up there... The food cooking on the grill looked delicious... Freaking awesome footage bro, you have a knack for it... I'll be camping in our local mountains this weekend, upload soon... Thanks for sharing. Give me a heads up the next time you're in so Cal. We'll meet up and chillax... Peace
RedWhite&Blue 78 thanks man! Which mountain you hittin? Looking forward to the vid bro. I am thinking about a so cal trip later this year, which part of Cali do you usually hike/camp? But I’ll hit you up, sounds like good times 🍻
RedWhite&Blue 78 you ever try camping on top of baldy? I've done that hike once and camped up there. Not tents required, just a sleeping pad, sleeping bag, and some food/water. Might be down for a one nighter there if you're up for it later in the year
Edward Shin... I've never been to the top, but Steve and I have been talking about doing a trip up there... If you come down here and plan it... we are in.
Olly Outdoors thanks Olly! The trees were massive indeed. The video and photos you see online really don't do them justice, and are very awe inspiring in person. Thanks for the sub!
@@KrokemOutdoors Yes when I went in person it was magnificent, I am going this summer with a group of friends, its our first roadtrip/camping trip fresh out of high school
Gorgeous setting. Wonder why most people unload almost everything from the car even though there are bears, raccoons, and other animals that usually check it out, open things, and strew things around the campsite while humans are sleeping. LOL
Please make more videos of Jed Smith! I went here as a child every year, and this forest holds many everlasting memories for me! I believe you camped out at one of our favorite spots! I'm unable to get there nowadays, with the passing of my Father and such, however, please keep posting! Your video shows the real beauty! Did you by chance go to a community bonfire and a night river trail walk? Maybe we'll see each other there one day! Thank you for sharing...joy
Joy Gmail I would if I could, Joy. This place is amazing. I may take another trip out there soon, but I live really far from here. I wasn’t fortunate enough to attend a community bonfire or the night river trail walk, but those sound awesome and is something I will look for on my next trip out there. My condolences on the passing of your father, and I hope you will somehow be able to make another trip there soon. Thank you for the warm comment and best wishes to you!
A bit off topic but... You might want to think a bit about what would happen if your air bags deployed while your feet are on the dash. I've done the feet-on-dash a few times in the past... Until I thought about the consequences and read some horrifying accounts of what happens. Just food for thought.
Will be travelling southbound from Eugene, Oregon to Arcata, California. What's the most efficient way to visit Redwood Park if I only have 4-5 hours? Thanks!
Claire Vernon it was at the Jedediah Smith Redwood state park. I forgot the exact site number, but I would recommend looking at their site map first, because some sites ( like ours) aren’t very private
