Nice to see people up here :) most folks don’t come up here, prefer Oban, Ullapool or Wick / Thurso. They just don’t know what they are missing. Greetings from Hopeman
Amanda has been coming up for quite a few years now to visit her family and Mark every so often but it's been great to come up in our Motorhome and be able to explore more on foot and two wheels. We'll have to head in the opposite direction when we come up again in September 😊 Thank you for watching and for your comment 😍
@@scotland5370 Hi, I think Findhorn is one of the nicest places to visit, we even stayed in the Aire a couple of years ago. Not heard of the Eco Village though but guessing we must have passed it?! Are you from up that way or just visited a few times? Thank you so much for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍
Great short trip you had lovely weather, we definitely would love to see the Kelpies one day. We didn't realise there was places to go called Aires over here, thought it was France only .....
Hi guys 👋🏻 We had amazing weather albeit a tad windy for our bike ride but couldn't have asked for a better week. The Kelpies were great and only £10 to stay overnight and that Aire was a great find too! I think CAMpRA are trying to get as many local business etc to open the minds up to the fact that they could make some extra pennies by renting out a parking space overnight to Motorhomes etc and I know there are quite a few in the UK. It's quite nice to come across one, we only have a few in Cornwall. Thanks for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍
Hey guys. Great video, the lunch by the sea looked so picturesque. Lovely setting with a great lighthouse. Looked like you guys are having a great time. All the best Chelsea and Mike
Awhh we had a great time and it was so good to see my family but also get a bit of time together doing the things we love 💕 That beach was something else! I've been to Lossiemouth so many times but never to West Beach which was just stunning!! Hope you guys are well 😊 Thanks for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍
Oh Lorraine we're so sorry 😞 We made a bit of a rookie error there by not actually adding our name change on to one of our previous vlogs 😞 We're so glad you found them though and thank you so much for watching! Take care - Amanda & Mark 😍
@@AdventureswithAmandaandMark no worries just thought you would like to know thought if I was having a problem finding you there’s a chance others are too 😊. Happy motorhoming we love ours too 👍👍
Nice film guys. That coast line looks stunning. Memories for us too - we got married in Gretna (saved inviting anyone!) and Nicky stopped there on her LEJOG AND Lossimouth was where Nicky's Dad was based, so she lived there as a toddler. Hope you're loving life in Millie, she looks great 💙
We thought it was beautiful and although I've been to Lossiemouth so many times I never realised that West Beach was there 😂 How lovely that you got married at Gretna - now you know a good Aire you can stay at if you want to go back and reminisce 😊 It's such a small world isn't it - I'm guessing Nicki's family then moved back down here which is the opposite for my family! Thank you for watching - we were watching your Dorset one last night and thought that running event looked really good, right up our street!! Take care both 😍
Thanks guys 😊 Yes he was very excited 😆 Like a big child 😂 We had amazing weather but I think I said we've always had pretty good weather when we've been up there apart from once when we we're got to take the ferry to the Orkneys on our bikes and it was torrential rain all day so we stayed tucked up in Indie 🚐 Thanks for watching, have a good week - Amanda & Mark 😍
Thank you 😘 I think there is definitely a lot more to explore in that area than I ever realised and already decided we'll stay at that campsite we saw next time we visit my family. We'd like to do some of the Isles one day too 🗺️ Thank you both for watching 💕🙏🏻
That West Lossiemouth beach was just beautiful 🤩 Went on for miles!! Think we might stay at that Hopeman site next time we go up! Did you have a favourite stop? Thanks for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍
It's pronounced MURRAY even though it has an O in it 😂. The coastal trail is 50 miles from Forres to Cullen. All the sand on the West beach has gone in winter storms, hopefully it'll come back during the summer. That narrow gorsey path is the new one because the old one became overgrown! It was about 4m wide when they built it. It's all rideable BTW but you get even more lacerated these days. I'll be sweeping the Moray Coast Ultra race again next month so will have to endure it all again.
Oh how funny 🤣 For the last 15 years or so of visiting we'd always thought it was MORAY!! Will have to have a word with my family 😂 oh wow an ultra along there must be amazing - we really did enjoy our couple of days exploring as usually we just take our family out to places so don't get to spend time like that on our own and a few years back we probably would have jumped at the chance to do something like that! Hope it goes ok for you and thank you so much for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍
@@AdventureswithAmandaandMark aye get them tellt 😂. The coastal ultra is one of 4 that I sweep in the area but it's my favourite as it's the prettiest I think. Toughest is the full Moray Way at 100 miles. That's the coastal trail followed by running up the Speyside way and then back down the Dava Way. I've made a few crap vids on my channel showing my days out on them if you're bored.
