Our channel was previously known as Adventures with Indie after our Motorhome that we'd had from March 2021 to July 2023. We now have Millie the Burstner Motorhome and love going on adventures in Cornwall where we live but also exploring further away in the UK and Europe.
We headed off to the Pyrenees in June 2022 and the Picos de Europe in 2023 both with Indie and they were amazing 🤩
We’re looking forward to bringing you along on our adventures whether it’s out on bikes hitting the roads or trails, walking or running coastlines and moors or exploring historic buildings near and far away especially stately homes and churches/cathedrals.
We also have a passion for cruising and have started making films of these adventures to share with you as well 🚢

Hi both, we really enjoyed your vlog. We were on our first ever cruise on Sky with you back in June. Seeing the ship again brought back many happy memories. We spent quite a few relaxing hours listening to the fabulous violinists and Asian Soul whilst propping up the bar in Vines! The sail away from Stockholm was the highlight for us. @@Ian-xg9cv Hi both, now thats a difficult one!! 9 times out of 10 we book the cruise for the itinerary but Iona was booked for the ship when we went in January as originally we should have been on her in January 2022 so wanted to make sure we went on her and it worked out well with NYE. She is a lovely ship and we have had family members go on her lots of times and she is a popular choice for the Norwegian Fjords, and the prices for P&O are so reasonable. The food was always pretty good, the Keel & Cow especially and we liked the cinema and the pick n mix 🤣 MSC Euribia was booked again for the ship as she was new and we’d never been on MSC before so wanted to try them out plus it was, again, a very reasonably priced cruise. We loved the galleria, the glitzy staircases, the Big Band in the carousel lounge, all the tech and much more. We ate in the MDR mostly and liked that we had an allocated table and we got on really well with our table mates and our waiter was really good. Princess as you know was booked a year in advance for the itinerary but we really loved the ship. We think that Princess is a higher quality ship/service than the other two and we enjoyed the luxury, for us of the Premier Package. We didn’t overly enjoy the food in the MDRs but liked all the specialities, Alfredos, the buffet etc. We also liked all the entertainment that was on offer - we found it difficult to choose what to do!! We have booked MSC World Europa for the Ship later this year and just happen to be going to the Med 😍 I think it will depend where you want to go mostly but we enjoyed the experience or cruising from Southampton as well for our last 4 cruises - the next one is a fly cruise. If we had to pick one of these three again it would be hard because of the reasons we use to chose our cruises but after all that rambling on we think it would be ……. Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas 🤣😂 She is our favourite ship and we would love to go on her again one day especially on another transatlantic to the Caribbean. If you haven’t tried RC then they are worth a try. Sorry, thats not very helpful is it but we would happily go on all three ships again if the price was right 😉. Did Princess not provide a shuttle bus into the centre of Copenhagen & back? They did when we visited there last. I must admit that there was a bit of a queue for it though. Love both Copenhagen & Skagen 🇩🇰
Hi David, we didn't hear about one from the destinations lady or see it mentioned in the Princess Patter but that doesn't mean there wasn't one 🤔 We may have just missed it but there were a lot of people from the cruise ships on the public transport so either there wasn't one or it was a bit pricey. We paid €12 each for one with MSC in Hamburg last year and then realised we could have walked 😂 plus we had to queue for ages on the way back in the cold rain 🌧️ We had a great time at both places too! Good advice on the bikes. We were once told by a shopkeeper in Aruba that there was one price for the locals and the island's holiday makers and another for the cruise ship visitors. It definitely pays to step away from the boat before splashing the cash.
We completely agree and with this cruise we had those medallions on the lanyards so once we were scanned off the ship we would pretty much take it off and hide it away! A lot of the time though business will know when a cruise ship is in and change their prices anyway 😞 Have you been looking at excursions yet?? Thanks for watching 👀 x

We, my husband and I watch all your vlogs and thoroughly enjoy them. We watch a few different ones on varying subjects and of all you are definitely our favourites. You are informative but also very friendly. A couple we could be friends with! Only problem you put your jam and clotted cream on the wrong way round... cream first, then jam! but we won't fall out over that 😜

We went on Iona twice this year in fact, she’s a lovely ship although we really like Anthem for everything she has onboard (Independence was one of our favourites 😍). All 3 ships are quite different so that’s nice that you are getting to try them out. We still haven’t decided which cruise line we like best and Sky Princess was our 12th together and my 15th (Amanda). Still lots more to try though 🤣

Hi 👋🏻 We went on the 20th April this year and it was after the Easter holidays and everything was open. These stops are at quite small places and I'm guessing when a massive cruise ship comes in it makes good sense to be open - although saying that we went to Hamburg on another cruise lines on a Sunday and it didn't feel like much was open at all! Just do you, don’t feel under pressure to get dressed up if thats not your thing but if it is go for it - we love formal nights! We loved going to the sweet shop and then the cinema on Iona and The Quays was really good for food and the Keel & Cow of course and we loved all the ports, even though the weather wasn’t the best but obviously would highly recommend the Loen Skylift in Olden and fingers crossed the weather will be amazing - as we said it was the week before and it actually was the week after 🤣

Lovely 😊 We did the Fjords on Iona in April and loved it. We’re off on MSC World Europa at the end of the year and cannot wait. We booked the cruise use for the ship 😂 It goes around the med as well and we not done much of the western med before so we’ll be stopping at 4 ports we’ve not been to and visiting two new countries 😍
We haven't done bingo on a cruise for years but we actually did on this one on the last day as we had OBC to use up - I'm sure it was $29 for one set of 4 games 🤔 They also had tablets you could pay extra for. Thanks for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍

@AdventureswithAmandaandMark on the princess ships everything is on dollars. To work out what you pay in English pounds. For example If u buy something for $90 dollars You divide it by3 Then times it buy 2 Then it works out to £60
@@StephenEscott-tg9xcAh ok, yeah we’ve been on a few ships where its dollars - Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. It was weird going on MSC last year when everything was priced in Euros. We didn’t have to worry too much about the exchange rate on this cruise as we had $400 of Onboard Credit but thank you for explaining it, we will try and remember that for future cruises 😍

Hi Karl, yes we're aware of that and unfortunately we no longer have a dog so it's ok for us but it is a shame for families with dogs that want to stay. They do have a sister site at Heligan which allows dogs to stay and you can use the facilities at Pentewan but you'd have to leave your furry pet behind. Thanks for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍

Hi ya, thank you for watching, and for your question re Carnival shares. I have just checked and today’s price for the “Carnival PLC (CCL)” Shares are 1,266.50pence each. We bought ours from Hargreaves’s Lansdown online but you could use other share trading platforms instead. To get the on board credit you need to have bought minimum 100 shares. There are rules around when you can claim the onboard credit, all these t&c’s are available to read on their website this link will take you there. www.carnivalcorp.com/shareholder-information/shareholder-benefit From memory a 14 day cruise will give you £150 per stateroom and a 7 day cruise will get you £60 per stateroom. Only one person needs to have the shares, so don’t double up as it wont give you double on board credit. Any way i hope this brief summary helps you? All the best Amanda and Mark.
