We explore the Kentucky bourbon trail while visiting for a long weekend in our RV. We make stops at Jim Beam, Four Roses, Old SteelHouse and get to go on a full behind the scenes tour of Makers Mark. Touring the grounds and hand dipping our very own bottle in the signature red wax. This episode will give you great information as to the complexities of making whiskey and bring a lot of laughs. We watched your video’s, and Chuck & Cherie’s, on White Acre Campground and the bourbon tour multiple times. While we haven’t ventured to the teeter totter yet, we have enjoyed our time at White Acre and sampling bourbon. Journey from MO has been worth it! Thanks for sharing your experience so we weren’t going into this blindly.

Hi friend! It was sooo cool! It was even more fun experiencing it with friends. Of course, tasting the bourbon was awesome but the education you get about what goes into making it and the different techniques each distillery uses is unexpectedly enjoyable. Let me tell you... Chuck is a stand up guy! He not only gave me that container of seasoning, he also sent me the recipe. I had to sign a non disclosure agreement though. 😂😂😂

We stayed at White Acres Campground. We have a campground review video on our channel of the campground if you’re interested. If you are planning on visiting distilleries, we highly recommend the campground. Much closer than the KOA we stayed at the first time.
