Camping & Rafting in Nantahala National Forest (April 28-30, 2023) 

On this trip, we drove around 3 hours and 45 minutes east to Nantahala National Forest for a great weekend (04/28-30/23)!
We camped at Brookside Rafting. The following day, we hiked up to one of the best views I have ever seen at Wesser Bald firetower. Afterwards, we made our way back to brookside to raft the Nanathala River! (Highly recommend camping and rafting there!
All in all, this was one of out most fun trips that we have had. Nantahala is stunningly gorgeous and the community was amazing. We will almost certainly be back there this summer!
