Join me on this overnight adventure with two of my sons as they conquer their first ever survival type mission. I'll teach them to build a shelter with sticks and a tarp, nearly light a fire, tie some knots and practice our skills with the Bows. Oh and we catch a monster eel and eat it for breakfast.
So tune in to see if the boys survived and if they ate the eel??

Nice one mate. Great to see you teaching the young fellas on the key components to survival out in the bush. How was that eel? It is generally pretty fatty and oily but it's pretty nice I find.

Good drills mate and cool little adventure. Any tips on cooking eel? (Ain’t eaten one since I was a kid). Good on you for taking the boys out. Like that little hatchet too - (something us kiwis should carry more). Cheers mate 🇳🇿 🥝

I reckon eel is best smoked but I cooked those bits just in butter. Haha the little Viking axe. Works well for a home made one. Cheers bro🤙🤙
