I thought the same thing! 😂 it’s mighty convenient that he’s never around when the wolf man is and he kept on downplaying the urban legend was true. I’m curious if maybe he’s related to the real wolf man or something like that. Interesting. Lol
I wonder if he is in control when he is the wolfman. I soft of can see some resentment he has toward Jack and Jane for the happy life they seemed to be starting, He also only injurred Melissa instead of outright killing her, showing he may have feelings for her. I mean if you like a girl you obviously need to turn her into a wolfwoman! Now they can have some wolfie pups! lol
You know, for as janky as this was at times, there was some real love and effort put into this! There are some genuine efforts to make cinematic shots, good sound design, that outhouse scene was a masterfully executed moment of tension, and overall did a good job of making you feel like you weren't alone out in those woods. Yes, it's got some visual quirks, but I can't help, but respect a game that knows what it wants to be and sets out to do just that, with gusto! Hat's off to the developer, we don't get enough classic monsters in games these days!
I really enjoyed this. It captures that B movie feel. From the stilted awkward conversations, to the whole group of kids personality tropes, and Melissa's expanding chest , this was fun. Thanks for playing Chris.
Two things I like in one video werewolf's and camping make that three and Chris our favorite 10 battery lobster man that always checks the toilets to see if anything is hidden there and has a great sense humor. I can't wait for chapter 2.😸❤
Many questions left unanswered. Hopefully they are answered soon with chapter 2. I look forward to the release of chapter 2, and to Chris playing it. Thanks Dev for the game, thanks Chris for playing it.
11:22 _True_ friendship. 😶😂 Uh, disappearing James is looking a bit suspicious.🐺This was fun. I'd like to see the full game when it's released. Thanks for the diversion, Chris.
I'd like to see the full release as well. I'm so tired of zombies, ghosts and vampires getting all the games and movies. Werewolves are seriously underappreciated these days imo. They haven't had anything good since that remake of the Universal "Wolfman" Side Note: I tried responding earlier but I think the algorithm didn't like it.
My money is on James being a werewolf, if not THE wolfman. I felt from the start one of them might be the one. Have to say I do like werewolves, so this could be fun. Looking forward to the second chapter when it’s released.
bat and hiding spot in shed were pointless. 26:56 need to fix the clipping on the bottom of the car. i'm glad it continues, having that big house there would feel like a waste if we never explored it.
Oh man, I'm actually really excited for this one! Werewolf horror doesn't show up a lot in horror games, for a start, and this one seems like it could be a good deal of fun! I especially liked the way the werewolf is teased about, all the way up until you get your first good look when trying to escape - the surprise sounds when you put yourself in the outhouse for a bit, the sudden howl when you looked out the window, all the stuff. I'd really be glad to see more about this one!
Oooo yay! Finally a game to get excited about again 😄😁 such a decent start already and has a charm to it, big hooray to the solo dev working on it keep it up!! 👍🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
U missed those huge paw prints when u left the outhouse! 10:03 and 11:37. They were there after u heard the footsteps! Saw them when u exited and then when u passed by it going back to camp. They were bright yellow so surprised u missed them! Would have made it more “real” as u weren’t seeing things when u ran back to camp lol
Somewhere ohio isn't a real place, but there is a rather popular horror podcast Somewhere Ohio. This appears to take place in it, or is at least based on it.
At 27 minutes in I actually jumped and let out a scream. Normally when I'm watching your other videos I'm usually not screaming but on occasion one gets me. By the way I believe the "right" path SHOULD be the one where you can leave LOL. I can't wait to see you play this game when it fully comes out!!!
This was like a classic horror movie. Love this one. Its no AAA graphics but the feel is there. I really really loved the stomping wolfman when locked inside the outhouse. That was terrifying indeed.
That was a good lil game, a bit creepy and pretty funny too. It was made better by your VA, It's always nice when you read things! Helps me keep up with the story despite bad eyes, and it's genuinely just nice and entertaining. Looking forward to whatever you do next!
For the first of three potential chapters, this was a sizeable bite, yet barely scratched the surface. I'm guessing Chapter 2 will be an attempt to escape while Chapter 3 will be killing the wolf (and potentially your former friends as well). Either way the mix of horror and typical slasher-style comedy was quite a howl. Can't wait to see what the... full... version gives us.
No, there is no Somewhere, Ohio. I did however use to live in Maybee, Michigan years ago. Not too far from Hell, Michigan. Watched your vids for years now, damn didn't seems that long. Thank you for the countless hours of fun entertainment CJU.
Game Suggestion!! Pls play Silent Breath!! I only watched a few minutes of it from another youtuber, its very realistic with great audio (i think). Really want to watch ur commentary on it!! Thanks for another awesome upload >:33
This game is based on the Werewolf of Defiance, Ohio legend. It's really more of a dogman than a werewolf since werewolves are human beings that transform into bipedal, wolflike monsters while dogmen are themselves monstrous, upright walking canids that are always in their bestial form.
Love your videos I just wonder if you have noticed how many times you say right In every video just once you notice it hard not to focus on it from then on but still like your videos just a observation
