Yeah, I visit Seoul quite a lot! Usually on weekends. There is a friday bus from campus, but also there is a nearby intercity bus station with a possibility to buy tickets online.

i have applied for KAIST undergraduate admission.... but the thing is that the recommendation letter is still left..... will the institute contact my teacher through email for the letter or should the recommendation letter be submitted online? I'm confused because my teacher did not receive any email from the institute and i'm unable to find any "Submit recommendation letter" link on the website when i log in. There is still time for the deadline of recommendation letter.
Hello. In my case, after I filled the teacher contact info, an email with a link was sent to my teacher. He could fill the recommendation letter through it and send by himself. The email with link was sent as soon as I put their name online. Can't tell what happened in your case - ask teacher about previous emails they got from KAIST or check some spam folders - if there is nothing, better contact KAIST directly.
@@ZosiaZamoyska Actually my sir said that he didn't receive any email from KAIST. I'll for a while.... the documents deadline is Oct23 and recommendation letter deadline is on Oct 30.... Thank you for you response😄
I have another question: I read that one needs to achieve TOPIK level 2 of Korean in order to get the final degree. Does KAIST offer Korean language classes for students who don't speak Korean?
Hi! I did a room tour in another video. I don't think they are crappy, especially since they are very cheap and offer a lot of free things (washing machines, water dispensers, etc.). I heard that most of the guys are not really satisfied with the first year dormitories, because they have 3 people rooms, but if they are not satisfied, they are able to change it to better ones later. But when it comes to female dormitories, it is very very proper.
I don't think there is any "necessary" one, as you are admitted to KAIST in general, not exact major (undergraduate). After first year, you choose your major.
I don't know - I personally took math (and so did most people) and physics - I don't think it really matters until it's a science subject, some of my friends took chemistry or biology.
University is taught whole in english (in meaning, you can graduate studying only in english) for every course. Of course there are courses in Korean, but never the required ones. You can check courses on cais.kaist.ac.kr/totalOpeningCourse
I applied through KAIST scholarship. KGSP accepts usually one or two people per year for a whole Korea, but it offers much more money... So decision is up to you, or you can try both:)
I heard of people trying to do so, but I am not sure. You will just have to pay the application fee twice I think. I am really not sure, so I recommend you to check it with KGSP site.
Is SAT test is mandatory for Kaist application form?? because In eligibility criteria there is no mention such things....they mention for English proficiency test only...
Everyone getting in gets scholarship, therefore there are no real fees to pay, except the health insurance and dormitory payments. Also, every international student gets 350,000 won for living per month.
@@myatthuzarkyaw3879 I think so. I applied with predicted National Exam scores (and SAT), but in file I received from them after admission, they asked for my final scores to not be on similar level as the predicted ones.
