Yes, without any issue. You choose any major you want after 1st year and can change your major even after that.

Well, it's not easy. I don't know the acceptance rate either. KAIST is a good university with high, international level, so admission is quite competitive. But requirements are also different for international and Korean students, so I wouldn't compare it.

Hahaha not really. I still have a lot of time for my social life, doing my youtube channel and maintaining my assignments. I do not have any problem with that! But it depends from your major and schedule too.

I think this is a question towards the admission office. I think as it is required document, it should be submitted with the admission. I think you should contact admission office with this question.

Yes, that's how recommendation letter works! A person that knows you from academic side, like a professor, lecturer, teacher should fill the RL. You should ask them first if they will do it and then, when applying, you fill their name and email on KAIST page. They will get e-mail with a link to RL submission.

KAIST students can work 25 hours per week outside the university work (working in lab doesn’t count). I didn’t need to submit anything about "how much money in bank account I have". I only sent my parents tax returns statements.

You can pair them up freely, there is no requirements.

During our first year, we haven’t declared our major yet right? So after the first year, can we freely apply to any double major choice or do we need to have acquired the required credits to apply for a specific major?

After first year, you fill application for major. Therefore, you can apply to your first major after two semesters. But in order to apply for second major or minor, you should fill 40 credits, and that is after 3 semesters. But filling the major declaration is kind of a formality - you can take major courses, or courses from other majors, no matter what is your major. For example, I am officially Computer Science major, but I will declare Industrial Design double major only after this semester. But including this semester, I already took 4 courses in CS and 4 courses in ID.

They teach and talk in English :) you only need to learn basic Korean, but not for your major

I don't know about other people. Except classes, with heavy load, I spent around 3 hours on my assignments & reviews per day.

Hi! I pay 101,000 won per month, but the payment should be done for a whole semester in advance, so 404,000 won at the beginning of fall/spring semester.

I am paying for my own meals.

How do you afford to pay for both your dormitory and meals? Also are students allowed to do part-time jobs?

We get a monthly stipend of 350,000 won per month, it is enough to pay for meals and monthly expenses. Dormitory should be payed in for a semester in advance though. Students are allowed to take part time job, 25 hours in a month. Or you could work in laboratory and also earn money there!

Computer Science! And I think about minor (or major if I will have time as cs and id are time-consuming) in Industrial Design.

@@kosiannie9985 not at all! The class time and exam time is usually similar, so if classes do not clash in schedule, then they wouldn’t clash during exams much. Also industrial Design has more projects than exams. In worst case scenario, you can contact professor about the exam time problem.

Hi! KAIST offers you all necessary for graduation courses in english. No need for TOPIK before entering, but you should obtain level 2 during studying here.
