So sorry for the loss of Sherpa Key s best friend !I know Key will does not understand he will never see him again but know Key will one day be with Sherpa in heaven !Sad you are hurting and know his owner is as well ! Prayers for Key you Nan his owner !
Jodie, so glad you got to spend time with Louise. She should have brought Ivy to keep Key company. The English countryside is so beautiful. Sure wish I could visit. Thank you for allowing me to share your country and your precious family, including his royal highness Lord K’eyush. Hugs to all from Tennessee USA. 💕🐾
Key said great job mom, you did an awesome job assembling the new bike♥️ 🤗👍🥰I love the color too 🥰Enjoy your special day 🥰🤗♥️Love to all, & extra cuddles for Key♥️
Jodie thank you for the great video of your ride on your new E-bike. You live in such a beautiful country. I think the UK is one of the most beautiful countries in the world 🌎. You and Lousie looked like you had a fantastic time. K'eyush looked so cute at the end of the video giving you his opinion on the new E-bike. Take care. Much love to you,K'eyush and Nan. Have a great day. ❤️ ❤🖤🤍🫂🫂🫂😘😘😘🐺👱♀️👩🦳
You're so lucky to be able to test these bikes out Jodie, if we were younger we would definitely get one each as we love being in the country and these would be ideal to get us to go further. Yes, I really love the idea of an electric bike.
I cycled all over the country when i was younger carried every thing on the bike. I always liked my feet flat on the floor to keep it stable when we stopped, I would not be happy just on my toes. but it does look like a very stable bike, enjoy it.
A relative of mine has a train horn on his vehicle if you want something loud. It is so scenic, I hope you added bike puter together-er to your CV! You might be able to cut an inch off the bike seat shaft if you need to.
Hi Jodie . These kind of bikes are very popular here in Australia. With the wider wheels it gives you a steady feeling . I only have a normal mountain bike but with those wide tyres, but my wheels are 26 inch size wheels. Yours are 20 inch by 4 inches wide. I hope you have a lot of fun with that bike. Maybe get a little kids trailer, the Key can come along as well . Stay safe and happy , peace ✌️.
You amaze me putting that bike together. What a beautiful countryside you went through. You are very lucky. I used to live in the northeast US rural area but have lived in Texas too long now! So happy for you! I know you from Jamie and Sherpa’s channel. Bye lucky woman!
This is a great bike! I've always liked bright colored bikes because I think it helps you be seen by other drivers/riders. My bike is bright yellow and lake blue.
That was a nice bike, I liked it. Hopefully, you can use it more frequently. Too bad it didn't have a side car, so Key could ride along. Such a sidekick boy. 😊
Cut 2 inches off the end of the seat post at the bottom and it'll go down more. This is normal to have to do for shorter people and especially on full suspension bikes. EDIT: Also, one of your brake rotors are bent a bit so you can hear it every time the wheel turns around even if you're not on the brakes. Source: Was bike mechanic. :)
I love the bright color of the bike. E-Bike companys have yet to make a bike to fit my short legs and body. I am 5 foot tall and like you, I want both feet to reach the ground so I don't feel as though I am going to fall off every time I stop. I haven't riden a bike since 1970 so I don't even know if I could anymore. I love that Key is using the pretty red bed you made for him.
Thoroughly enjoyed this upload love Keys little conversation at the end it's so cute.. Got to admit i really enjoy watching the things you do Jodie whether it's assembling a bike and going for a bike ride, decorating or creating something i find it oddly relaxing and strangely therapeutic.. Weird i know..!!
Commenting from the USA. First, I am so sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed it when Sherpa and yourself would go traveling and he would talk to everyone. In regards to your comment about Key sniffing Sherpas eye and you wondered if Key knew about the tumor. The answer is probably yes. Research has shown that dogs cqn smell cancer,, oncoming seizures and approaching death. Not sure how animals in hospitals are viewed in the U.K. but it is getting to be common practice here.. There are many stories about this sort of thing. We have 3 major hospitals in our area, one of which is a teaching hospital and thery are doing studies about animals being able to sense/smell illnesses.
Jamie mentioned the same thing! The last visit Key sniffed Sherpas side & Jamie also thought Key smelled the tumors!! I think about Jamie and Sherpa every day and love when Jamie posts a video that no one has ever seen!! By the way I live near Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut.
Jodie, number one rule with looking after e-bike batteries, do not fully charge it unless you’re going to ride it, if you’re not riding it, leave it stored at 60%. This is a must. Only charge to full the day you’re going to ride. And after the ride, if it’s below 60%, charge up to 60% and that’ll be good.
Hi Jodie and Key and Nan thank you all for bringing a smile to my face even now with Shep gone 😢 we all will miss him ... Jodie sending you and key BIG HUGS From Florida USA 😊😊😊😊
Cut some length off of the seat post so it can slide down farther for you. It's bottoming out inside the tube preventing you from getting it to the position you need. It will not only be more comfortable but also a lot safer as well in case you have to put your foot/feet down completely to prevent falling over while riding because you swerved around or away from something or hit a pothole or obstacle. Ideally you should be able to just slightly bend your knee a bit when sitting with your feet on the ground but as long as both can touch at the same time so you're not leaning/tilted to the side to get just one to touch you will be able to control the bike in the direction you need to go without tilting and causing you turn the way the bike is leaning. Really nice bike, and good video with nice imagery, including the shot of your attractive sister! (And you as well of course! 😉) Hope she finally got to use the loo! LOL! 😂 Hope that Keys leg gets better quickly so that sweet Furbaby can get around without problems and pain!
😂love the way you jumped at the sound of the horn 😂😂😂😂 Going through difficult times presently - got surgery tomorrow but keep going on watching yours and Keys videos ❤ And PS - I’m so sorry bout Sherpa 😢 my sister had to put down her dog (flat coat retriever) after 14 years and I was present - it broke my heart 😢😢😢😢😢
I agree with the Commenter who said attach a mirror (or two) on e-bike - but you showed a mirror which can go into end of handlebar - but you rode without it - so huh?!? - but his point is good - also good big light out front AND there should be a red light facing back - not just a red reflector - so you can be seen from afar! Reflector only lights up if a car behind you has it’s lights on. Big white light on front! - could save a life - possibly yours! ❤
Looks like you had a really nice ride there :) And it is a cool bike, though I am not that big a fan of the motor being on the back wheel, prefer having it at the pedals. Makes changing the tyre much easier when needed. That horn would be nice to have, lots of more or less "deaf" people walking around these days, and the regular bell just doesn't get through to them. Hope your summer goes on well there Jodie. Take care, and give Key some belly scratches from me ❤
I loved watching you with this bike! I'm going to look into getting one for me. I've never liked these electric bikes but if that can be turned down so I get a workout too then it sounds the one for me.
Yeah I wouldn’t want a bike that did all the work for me, I just want a bit of help on the hills. They tend to have 4 or 5 power settings and 0 will turn the assist off completely :)
Nice bikes, an d wonderful area to have a bicycle ride. So nice to see the hedge hog sign.. We used to see hedgehogs in the garden around the house in the evenings sometimes, so peacefull to see them walk around. Then the next day they were flat on the road. Now we have not seem them in years, sad. Hope the signs helps..
So glad you got a bike , need a seat for key or one of those goes behind the bike ❤❤❤❤ be careful n safe thank you for sharing with us. Give key a hug for me ❤❤❤
Key looks so great and happy on his red beanbag. I guess the belly rub toll was very high on that day. Love you Jodie, Sister, Nan and Key. Bless you. Maybe you can meet with Jamie, I think he has the same bike.♥
The bike is so cool! I am hoping to have a move in 2026 to my hometown and get a ebike so this was really interesting! What a gorgeous bike ride you and Louise had! Hope you are well. Pets to Key. Its hot here and I am approaching my 54th birthday. Michelle from Omaha
I liked, the new bike Jodie. Didn't you have another electric bike. The new bike. I like the color red. Seems to be my favorite color. Seems very aerodynamic. And i agree I wouid turn the the power off to ilike exercise. Except when i realy need it. I also like your watch. I also wanted to get one when they came out. You have so much experience and and talented in doing all sorts of stuff. That's good to have in your line of work. Such as touqes, t-shirts,sweater,and jewelry and many other things. Another thing i realy like is the ( UK) country side. I'ts got be one of the most beautiful country side i have ever seen. It's just so peaceful. Reminds me of home. When I lived th 0:03 ere. Hi Jodie, Nice work on choosing Key’s favorite color, that is a nice looking 🚴 red bike. Your experience putting bikes together shows, great job! No Chip to supervise the bike assembly LOL. Awesome hair, cute up do, love the Pink and blonde hair. Another fun video of your testing the bike speed and going for a bike ride with Paige In gorgeous weather and going for tea and 🍰, looked delicious. Loved your discussion with Key about the bike. Key gave us some insight about the bike too. Thank you Jodie, give Key hugs and belly rubs for me. Have a great Sunday!❤ Kim Johnson from 🇺🇸 Wisconsin
I love the bike, especially the color! Red is my favorite color. I enjoy your videos like this. I get to see England. My lifelong dream has been to come to England, it hasn’t happened yet but between you and Jamie I get to see your beautiful country!😊
Jodie on a motor bike and key in a side car would be the cutest thing and would make a cute new makeship Especially if they wore a scarf and goggles haha
OMG, I said those same words just today! "Gotta pay the belly toll! And I wouldn't have it any other way! Love Key! Love you! And love and miss Sherpie ❤ ❤ ❤ And I love my Shiba Inu, Mila ❤ She's a small, red version of Key! ^. .^ ~
So glad you had a chance to road test this bike. I assume you must send it back unless you buy it? If that's the case, no cutting off the seat stem... I'm too short for their shortest bike, so it sounds like a good idea. If it was a gift, that's fantastic!
