To the girl with celiac- I have it too and I promise you it’ll be ok. My school has a separate like for the top allergens so there’s absolutely no cross contamination through all of prep and serving. I know not all schools have that ,but you will definitely find options somewhere without having to make all your own food. But I totally agree that I would rather make all my own food if I had that choice because the food isn’t the best.

I fully understand this is for entertainment purposes, but there’s something slightly unethical pinning people against each other trying to decide who’s problems are more “worthy” of the money. For some people the money being used for donations may mean nothing, and for others, the money being used to buy material items for themselves may actually mean a lot to them. I almost think the person who gets the money should be the person who would genuinely appreciate it the most, which doesn’t necessarily align with the most humanitarian option.

Unpopular opinion: Girl who won was probably lying. How the hell you going to split $1000 (before taxes btw) between taking care of someone who has cancer, supporting her mother, AND donating it to charity??? It does not make any sense for her to get the money, it would be immaterial to all the things she wanted to contribute the money to. ALSO she was wearing brand new clothes, nails did, hair looked professionally done, and them lashes were def poppin. I would assume if you were in a financial situation you skip all that stuff, right?? Everybody else had waaay better reason for the money, jus sayin...

I don’t know something felt off about Fisayo’s story… her dad has cancer and her mom is struggling to support them but she would give the money to the homeless? Also she has fake eyelashes and nails and I feel like that stuff can be pretty expensive, especially for a struggling family and when she said she feels bad asking for things. If she only works one day a week how can she pay for self maintenance things? Idk it feels a little manipulative I really hope she wasn’t lying about any of it 🥺

Loved the guy in pink, he was my favourite! I love the drive he has and how he's hustling a job to get his funds instead of waiting on something to happen - basically being very proactive. Ambition like that is going to get him far in life irregardless if professional baseball works out. Josiah seemed like a very genuine dude, too.The young man in green was also really sweet and compassionate to others. Idk about the girl with coeliac and what exactly her game plan is because I heard in many dorms they don't allow you to have cooking equipment in there (might be for fire safety), so how is she gonna get an airfryer in there? she also didn't really explain her situation clearly (like the cross-contamination stuff). As for the Black girl who won, I kinda don't trust her, not to be mean. Something in the mannerisms was off, made me question if she was lying or severely exaggerating for the sake of winning the money. But then again sharing the hardships of your life in the context of monetizing the struggle would make anyone awkward and off in the way the way they present themselves (like giggling due to being uncomfortable).
