If you're wondering if a beginner can actually fly a jet, stay tuned and don't miss out on this amazing offer from Motion RC, The Freewing F-22 64mm. Video title and concept inspired by / @mach3rc
You just started? Nice! I started in September and now I’m on a yak130 70mm . The 70s are it for me and the 64mm seem like fun planes and that size is great for small cars
I’m new to “big planes”, so I started in 2021 with the Amazon $100 4 channel warbirds and flew those for about 3 years and then finally stepped it up. Started with a 80mm F86 and that lasted 5 flights 😅. You can see that, it’s one of the earlier videos I posted. So it’s been a fun ride! I can fit the 64mm f22, f15 and night timber x in my truck bed with room for more and also a yak looking prop plane in the backseat. Next on my list is the f22 90mm
Here’s where I have mine and it flys great, first you have to set the stabs up at an angle about 5-6mm. High rates: aileron 100% expo 35%. Mid rates 70% expo 25%. Low rates 50% expo 25%. Elevator: high 125% expo 35%. Mid 100% expo 25%. Low 80% expo 25%.
This jet makes the reverse thrust super easy, it comes with a plug you put directly into its own channel as long as you have an available channel on your receiver. Make sure you have the correct switch set to where it’s plugged in, likely to the landing gear #5 and you’re all set.
