I tried to do this on PS5, but found that F1 23 actually has no trigger feedback. GT7 has trigger feedback, which can provide some power, so it is easier to control the amount of control of the throttle and brake. Although it still loses control sometimes, it does run the fastest. However, because the F1 series of games only have vibrations and no similar trigger feedback, it feels very loose when pressing the throttle and brake, so it is easier to lose control. Due to the characteristics of F1, you almost have to press the throttle all the way, which makes every corner an adventure. You can play the career mode relatively happily with a controller, but it is still a bit difficult to brush the fastest lap time. Because the only way to avoid excessive traction output is to slow down the throttle process when exiting the corner. But this will waste time. well, i was on top 1000 (laptimes wise) in fm7 on an xbox elite pad then i decides to switch to wheel and acc. now im top 4/5% and aiming for top 1%

Imagine u hadn’t made the mistakes in your last laps (snap of oversteer/under steer idk in turn 4 and been able to have a smoother exit into turn 3 (should be turn 2)) it would’ve been even more astronomical

How on earth do you manage to drive without traction control on a controller? I've been playing almost solely on controller for years, and I've pretty much reached the upper limit on how fast I can drive with it on, but I simply can not seem to drive without the TC without either spinning or losing too much time. Are there any settings that help? The R2 button just doesn't seem sensitive or long enough for me to turn off the TC. This is only on F1 games, too... I can drive without traction control on controller just fine on other games like Gran Turismo 7. And I can drive on a wheel without TC on F1 24, I understand how to use it, it's just that R2 button...
