This is literally the best cs content in so long. Please continue with these I cannot stop watching. It's insanely interesting to see how people play against silvers, bots and maybe something else in the future. Maybe 3 globals vs 1 pro.
I remember at some pro event in the past they had random fans from the crowd who were MG/gold nova go against 1 pro, then 2, then 3 to try to win prizes and it was pretty interesting to watch
Honestly Valve is not receiving enough shit for this. CS2 legitimately has worse AI than the average FPS game from the 90s. I know offline play isn't this game's prime focus, but c'mon.... they had 12 years since the release of CSGO to at least make bot-games somewhat viable for new players/casuals.
bots seem to have gotten worse with every version of cs source had pretty good bots, go had okay at best bots, and now cs2 has the worst bots i've seen in any game by far, play 1 game of bot deathmatch and it becomes VERY apparent just how bad the bots are (i don't know enough about 1.6 to say if they're better than source or not)
@@Magearna-css bots were not just good, they were straight up aimbotting (pun intended) at times with the crazy 0.001 reaction time shots they can randomly pull off
for anyone wondering how to set it up -> launch options -> -maxplayers_override 64 -> launch game -> practice competitive (choose any map) once in the server do these commands : > bot_kick > mp_limitteams 0 > mp_autoteambalance false > bot_difficulty 5 > custom_bot_difficulty 5 > sv_auto_adjust_bot_difficulty false > bot_add_t or bot_add_ct (x10) > mp_restartgame 1

I play against bots all the time, but I use a gamemode I set up with random spawns. Bots are horrible at navigating in a sensible way, often all going together or all slowly walking to the wrong site after a plant. Random spawns makes things far more interesting, bots wil often take positions around the map and there's less chance of showing up on a site and taking it with opposition.
Ohne, the next time you ask another streamer or pro to do this 10-bot challenge you should pick Ancient or Anubis. It'll be more challenging because the bots actually split when holding sites on CT and also hold angles while on T.
I used to do this all the time when I was younger. I used to spawn the bots by name to get the 10 hardest and lock them to rifles and snipers only and I actually started to win pretty consistently.
Loved the video, don't believe this is insanely hard tho, from what i saw most of the rounds he lost he got too cocky and never used util properly.. soo ofcourse i tried this myself, recreated everything as best as i could to this video, but actually made it a bit harder on myself. I had modified a casual lobby to get the 10 bots, (did not want to edit configs), by doing so all bots always had defuse kits + i could buy 1 less nade. (yes i made it so i dont get free armor and money/time/round count was same as comp and set them max bot difficulty). Only issues i faced was pistol rounds, extremely hard to stop rush. Had to hard bait myself using smoke + flash combo, but still did not work that well. Other t rounds tho, literally no problem, as mentioned before, he was facing them many times, ofcourse u can kill 2,3 maybe 5 but then you will just get rushed down. What i did was listen to where most of them where running, then went the other way around to A, cleared it, planted and then ran to long and gg, repeat. Only times I got close to losing when i got bored of this playstyle and started facing them. Ct side literally all u need todo as he did, peek mid and take down as many as you can. Idk would love the exact config that was used here, it was probaly harder if it was a custom one, but i managed to get this 13:2 first time on mine modification. Ps. I believe you can do this even 13:0 if you use util properly (cheese a bit with smoke/flashes and definitely molo, they smt just stand in it lol)
I did the same thing u did and won 13:1, then i played one round with shotguns only, first time i lost second time i won, then i played a round of pistols only, i won, then i played a round with usp only, no kevlar, no util, and still won. (all on ct side) You can quickly kill 2-5 bots even with pistol only as they shoot very slowly from high range like dust2 middle. If you only take fights like 1v1, 1v2 Maybe 1v3 if they all come from one side, in most cases you can win. Retakes are a little bit harder because its just an aim and reaction test.I have something like 13k and few times it was really close but i menaged to do it.
So satisfying when the bots all go mid doors and you molly it followed up with a nade. Basically done after that. But yea, tried myself and got 166/4 KD, 78% HS and lost 5 rounds, simply for getting bored and not paying attention, played until I won 16 though. The last years I have not played any MM, so I always end up ranking like silver 3 or something, so it is hard to imagine how a pro cannot even make this happen. Seems intentional for reactions.
Try disable auto difficulty adjustment sv_auto_adjust_bot_difficulty 0 Without auto adjustment they stay more agressive Also set bot_difficulty 3 custom_bot_difficulty 4 And restart game mp_restartgame 1
Bots push thru smokes like silvers and also when one spots you they will all come rushing towards your last position so never sit in one place for too long if you don't need to. I also think they always react to decoys so you can use that to your advantage as well.

They made bots MUCH worse in cs2. I'm 9k elo and play 1v10 against bots on T side when I'm bored, It's rare I loose a round. Sometimes I run out of bullets when standing in front of their whole team and I just walk away and plant the other site. Edit: To clarify, I AM NOT BETTER THAN FURIOUS! I've just learned the bots behaviour a bit and they're pretty dumb. He should have bought aug, the trick is to never reload. awp has to reload at least once but probably twice or trice.
U can win it with awp, u just have to shot them fast when the round starts(like he did) they will just walk through mid and b and u just have to retreat back to a and kill them one by one, but it can be hard with hardest bots but im sure player like him can do it easy
I warmup against bots and my default is 10 bots hardest difficulty and its easy, but when looking at this it looks like the bots are in a different mode either they think they are in deathmatch or 10 bots is too much for the bots nawmesh and it stops working. Bots have patterns that they play 90% like on the first round of dust 2 on ct all of the bots should run to B site and hold there until bomb has been planted. After that they play A Mid A B, but in this they are doing stuff they are not suppose to do.
As a bot expert who has 1k hours in offline vs bots, this was fun to watch lmao, its funny when you know all about how bots work and how they adapt to the players playstyle
I did it yesterday, T is very easy, but CT is just easy. Just rush and kill half of them on the start before plant, or rush mid and get the kills when they exiting the T spawn

The previous video where ohne played himself it was level 3 out of 5 difficulty and ohne wrongly claimed it to be the hardest difficulty. Any idea if it's actually the hardest difficulty in this video? Any idea what's the difference between bot_difficulty and custom_bot_difficulty?
I tried this vs expert bots withh the hardws custom difficulty bot settings and the strat for ct was only awp or push mid and still pretty hard to kill all
bro's not letting him play lmao usually it doesnt matter what bot name is good. there's always ONE random extremely good bot that will clutch the rounds, especially when you have been spotted already. they seem to forget about walls if you're spotted recently
