Hi! We each bought a Ruckus last year and it's awesome! We live about 30 min. North from you. :) We go everywhere with it! On and off roads...Nice to see someone else enjoying these machines. Good videos!
Thanks! This one is a 2008 and the engine blew on it. Toys got me in contact with someone who had a written-off Ruckus so I could buy it from them, then Toys did a great job swapping everything over. I've been very happy with them
Great job on the video's. Tough little bike and rider. The Grom is a go anywhere beast! I was thinking in the past of getting a Grom, but decided instead for the Honda Xr150l. I love my Xr150l. Over 120mpg and will do 80kph all day.
Awesome video. I bought a Ruckus just to do the same type of riding. I been down the mic rabbit hole for a few years . The Rode Wireless mics are good with Gopro as long as you have a media mod and TRS cable but with DJI osmo action line up I found the DJI mic to work best.
The channel Some Guy Rides uses a media mod, and his audio sounds decent. I like being able to set the GoPro on a tripod and walk a decent way away. Unfortunately, the TRRS lav mic that fit in my phone died a month or so ago. I'll have to check out the DJI Mic again. The only thing I hesitate about with a wireless mic is that its another battery to watch, though it looks like its probably the best way You've got a great channel!
Greets from Moncton... I have a deposit on a Ruckus which should be in mid/late February... I've got my eyes on Albert county trails (where I grew up) just south of Moncton... Would like to meet up sometime, maybe.
Very possible! I've never been able to ride with someone else. A good friend of mine just got a small moto bike, too I've rode some of those trails in Albert County with a mountain bike, but getting to explore them more with a Ruckus was a major part of its appeal
There seems to be some debate in the forums about whether it's worthwhile to use sheetmetal screws. I've got a set of worn out tires that I may one day out some screws through
