Well, surely there is still racism in this world. I suppose that the parents or other (older) people from the woman's church are probably pretty racist. And racist Christians try to implement their racist views into their faith. So this woman was probably scared that she was about to do something wrong because wrong Christian leaders (parents, pastors, whoever) were telling her throughout her life that interracial marriage is wrong. It's good that Piper is adressing this topic because it still (sadly) seems to be a relevant topic for many (black, white, Asian etc.) people.
MrStevekehl some people care what God thinks and you need another source besides the Bible.... if you want to break God's will guilt free.... you'll need to start asking people who agree with you that it's okay. and I suggest you stop reading your Bible if you don't want to know God's will.
Stephen Hayes is it really racist to choose not to live such a painful life for yourself or your children. marrying out of your race is no more racist then married your same gender. You're demanding people judge you. and your offspring. if you haven't suffered enough racism marry outside of your race.
In your wisdom, does this also apply to heterosexuals who cannot reproduce due to a number of existing conditions? When you die, that'll be the end of you and you'll have no eternity. Fool.
Jesse Ligon - *A Godly couple (according to biblical standard) who cannot produce can always wrap their hearts around the promises of God and the Lord will always be faithful to give them a child (or children)* Were Abraham and Sarah a godly couple? Abraham also had Hagar (a slave given to him by Sarah with the specific purpose to have sex with and have a child). If this was the standard, why would you consider it wrong today? In Egypt, Abraham gave Sarah to the Pharaoh as a wife so that he wouldn't be killed since she was so beautiful. He had her lie and say that she was his sister. After lying, he gets rewarded by not only getting Sarah back but a bunch of material possessions also. Also, do you really believe that there are not heterosexual Christian couples who cannot bear children? So no, the Lord will not always be faithful and give those persons children. *The Lord will always be faithful to His own people.* No He won't. You'd expect the followers of a true and living god to be better off than those that don't believe in said god but that's not what we see in the real world. Christians along with the rest of the world suffer poverty, unemployment, divorce, financial struggles, sickness, addiction, depression, and everything else the rest of the world does. *A godly barren woman can always pray to the God of Israel and He will faithfully opens her womb.* That's a lie. Google "godly barren women" and you'll find all sorts of websites with blogs and support groups for Christian women who cannot bear children. No matter how godly and faithful and no matter how much prayer is offered, there are Christian women who will never bear children. *If you created nothing but life, joy, and peace... then you will have eternal life. But if, at any time, you was the cause of destruction, pain, and affliction (mentally and/or physically), then death is your lot.* Another lie. If there's an atheist or a person that believes different from you, and that person was what we would consider a good person, your beliefs say that he will go to hell. Let's take for example a doctor who happens not to believe in your god. This doctor saved lives, treated his family well, gave to charity, etc. You believe that at death, that doctor who brought life, joy, and peace will go to hell. On the other hand, let's take Jeffrey Dahmer the serial killer. After killing men, having sex with their dead bodies, eating parts of them, he accepted Jesus in jail. In your thinking, despite bringing death, misery, and heartache, he'll get to be in heaven forever. His victims, mostly gay men, will spend eternity in hell. Your statements are not matching up with your beliefs. *Do you know the power of the Blood of the Precious Lamb?* No. Why do think an omniscient and omnipotent god had to use a human sacrifice to offer humanity a loophole to escape the rules that he created himself?
Lots of people have made the same stupid comment, but the fact is that everyone is born ignorant and everyone needs to learn. Discussing and clarifying truth is *not* embarrassing at all.
IamaFreeWillOffering No. If your community has to "discuss" if a black person marrying and white person is a sin and/or acceptable by God, that is extremely embarrassing.
goingonce121 Anyone who thinks this is an "embarrassing" or inappropriate question, may be more influenced by the world, political correctness, and their own pride rather than being interested in what God thinks. The implication is that God would likewise frown upon such a question, as opposed to actually being pleased that someone would seek His face for such an answer, in all humility and sincerity, rather than presuming what He thinks - regardless of how "obviously obvious" the answer may/should be. For some who are more "enlightened" (perhaps arrogant is more accurate), asking questions about homosexual marriage, masterbation, and the like, may not need to be asked, because the answer is "obvious", but their reasons for NOT asking these same questions, may be sinful OR commendable. Just the fact that the person (women) asked, seems to me she WANTS to know the truth; sorry, but this is commendable in God's eyes. To accuse otherwise is an ungodly judgement against that (presumed) sister's heart, which, I believe God condemns, regardless of the motive. I'd rather stand before God asking a question like that in all sincerity and humility, wanting to know the truth, rather than someone who makes rash assumptions and ungodly judgements against that sister having asked that question.
I am a brown skinned man from a partially hispanic family , and I love questions like these; better to ask out in the open and be led to the light by CHRIST and our brothers, than doubt, not ask and be ashamed of yourself for having such thoughts. I have such thoughts, and its nice to know I can relate to others in the body of CHRIST.
Yes! I wish we were such a people where our brothers and sisters felt comfortable and without shame to ask ANY question. I think the enemy is at work when we don’t ask questions because of shame.
When your family tells you not to do it, or that they would be ashamed of you, you want to teach them they are wrong, not just tell them, it's a valid question. Interracial marriages were extremely uncommon prior to 100 years ago, chill out on the judgement of this woman's genuinely honest question.
Jamie C its not a valid question though.. you just have to have common sense. what kind of christian would even need someone to answer this. the bible should be their first port of call.
It has become a question because of some of the all white churches during the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. I'm 60 years old. When I was in my teens, during the 1970s, my dad had us attend a "Southern Fundamental Baptist" church. That church stood a hard line against inter racial marriages. They use to forbid anyone who was not white to attend services. I remember the Sunday morning a black couple was turned away by a deacon, and he recommended a black church to them that was down the road. I've even heard the pastor, a staunch red neck who was in his late 60s at the time, use the "N" word in the pulpit. My dad was also as racist and anti Semitic as they come (He voted for George Wallace in the 1968 presidential election by the way. I was 14 then). Of course, that church also had forbid blue jeans, rock 'n' roll music, going to movies, beards, bell bottom pants, guys wearing long hair and girls wearing pants. Girls had to wear dresses down past the knees. They often made reference about looking too much like a hippie. One Sunday morning, the pastor said that a beard "will identify you with that bunch who's going to Hell". Because of the damage done by those kind of churches and the pastors who ran them, the record has to be set straight. That's why it has become a question.
God did NOT make his white children superior over his black children however Jesus Christ is creative with his colors. If Jesus Chris is jet black still I want him to dwell in me and be my Lord , savor, best friend and I want to be his child and marry him.
+Dear Rain, It indeed sounds weird and common modern Christian terminology isn't really using the term "marrying Jesus". But I think I know where David is coming from. There are several references to the *church as Christ's bride* . And this terminology *is* used by Christians because we find it in the bible. 2 I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him. (1.Corinthians 11:2, NIV) 29 The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete. (John 3:29, NIV) There are also many references to the church as Jesus' bride in Revelation, as you can see here: www.bibleserver.com/search/NIV/bride/1
....It does not matter if you're a White marrying a Black person, a Chinese marrying a White person, A Hispanic person marrying an Arab person etc etc etc...none of this matters as long as you both love the Lord.
I love your sentiment here, but you might wanna shy away from using the terms "a white" or "a black" or "a" anything. I'm not a black. I'm a person who is black. A black American. African-American even. But not "a black". That's kinda derogatory.
Well, I did state it in my first comment. Black is fine. Black American. African-American, even. But not "a black". That is (unintentionally) derogatory.
@@1kmilez no dont marry unbelievers its not worth it. I am white ex muslim, will only marry a christian woman, never a muslim, never a hindu, never a atheist noone but a Christian.
For those confused: This question could be asked by a new believer from a local culture that is prejudice against other races. God reveals his nature in perfect timing, and for this woman, perhaps 2013 was that time.
2 more restrictions on who one is eligible to marry, may seem obvious but needs to be said: 1. opposite sex 2. must be christian 3. not a blood relative 4. free to be married i.e. not already covenanted to another.
Snapback, you want to know better than God? You want to defy Him? You want to love the world and at the same time will show your contempt for God? To say the least: that is not smart. Won't have a happy ending.
Oh boy new people when christ came kill me man kill me GOD IS THERE FOREVER BE BEFORE CHRIST AFTER CHRIST AFTER UNIVERSE DESTROYED AND AGAIN FORMS HE WILL FOREVER BE ONLY THING THE GOD CREATES IS SOUL NOT HUMAN BODY WHOM YOU NEW PEOPLE AND HATE OTHERS NOT BEING HATE EVEN WHEN THEY HAVENT DONE ANTHING TO YOU THAT WHAT I CALLED PSEUDO SECULAR PEOPLE GOD CREATES SPIRIT THAT REMAINS WHETHER HUMANS OR MICROBES
Amen!! There will be no separate heavens when we die. We all will die so the most important question we should ask ourselves is will it be heaven or hell…blessings
I agree that this is a ridiculous question but I respect Piper for meeting people where they are - our cultures leave all kinds of ungodly assumptions in our minds which need correcting from a biblical standpoint so I think it's good he takes the time to examine it properly and respectfully.
I’m a white woman dating a black man and I’ve tried to explain this to my parents so many times and they don’t care, they just continue to believe it’s a sin, they don’t even want to meet him and get to know him to see how amazing of a guy he really is. So yes this question is an important question because people still believe it’s wrong
Live your life as you choose to live it and enjoy. As you go through life you realise how petty some adults can be nevermind the children. You rise above them.
A girl in my school asked her dad what he thinks about interracial marriage, he told her god created us in different places so that we can be separate. Lol
May GOD have mercy on His people the bible never talked about color disfractions but righteous and unrighteousness marriage have nothing to do with color but spiritual impact
Wow you have opened my eyes today, I am so inspired by all your teachings, you have taught me how to read and underline key frames of the word. I seem to understand it so much better, but it’s also I have been praying to God to give me understanding so when I read I can have a spiritually understanding. The doors has been opened for me , God is so good , when we desire Him He starts to reveal Himself to us. Willing heart ❤️..... you are a good teacher, I thank God for you. And that it’s available on RU-vid to see and hear. As I am very far from church, and don’t or can’t attend regularly. Like before, I emigrated.
Unfortunately when I married my husband I was a nonbeleiver, years later in my marriage I became a born again Christian but my husband is still an Athiest. We are not equally yoked and I pray for him daily. However he is a stubborn man in his faith ... May he repents and Loves christ one day. He is a very kind good husband but his non beleiving bothers me most times.
Us African we take our Christianity very very Seriously it's sad to see that many Christian don't understand the word of God properly in western world this message should be shared wide world so that people can understand
When I moved to the south 8 years ago, my husband and I were having lunch with some “friends.” They spoke openly at the table about how ungodly it and sinful it was for a black man to marry a white woman and vice versa. My first reaction was to chuckle, I was so shocked, I thought surely it must be some sick joke. They were dead serious, we argued, I presented biblical evidence and my husband and I left calling them out as racists and their attitude ungodly. They were also very involved with their church, the husband was a deacon.
Bigotry runs deep in white evangelical circles. It's why I got out. Too much blatant racism (and misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, etc.) like this story you shared! And they all feel nothing is wrong either! Almost like they forgot "and yet these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love."
Really? Did they provide evidence of this in the Bible? Their opinion is not in the Bible. Moses wife was from Africa. Did God tell Moses not marry her?People are legends in their own mind. Having an opinion doesn’t make you right!
@@bluemeadows7520 no I'm not saying that. the other person said Miriam was angry at moses becuase married a women of a different religion, that's not true. Moes's sister was angry at him for having a black wife. I'm not saying God was mad at that becuase God does not care about colour, but his sister, Miriam did care that she was black.
Galatians was written to Israelites who were dispersed out of the Assyrian captivity into Galatia. Paul is telling those Israelites that only the ones of them who had faith were true children of Abraham.
I think this was a valid question. I am a black woman and understand the racial tension within society. Within society, it was frown on and even though times are changing, there are economical and social groups that will not accept an interracial relationship. Understand that there are still groups of people that believe they are more superior. That’s society and it’s easy to be influenced by it..but we are to live by God’s standard which is in the Bible. I’m glad Pastor John answers question regardless of whether or a particular group of people think it’s a stupid question
the racial tension in the US. Stop that stupid thought. Human race started in Africa, we are all related, otherwise we couldn't mate and reproduce. The rest is BS. Fairytales, tribal nonsense. When two adults wants to get married, it's their choice.
I didnt click on this it was one of those auto plays but I love his answer when I heard the topic i was like seriously someone really asked that because if I was to answer it I would have said of course God made all people & so therefore he isnt racist he loves all but the way pastor john answered this made me happy to see such a loving way to answer something like this he backed it up with the bible & was able to not make the person feel any type of way for ever asking it's just a question & he answered it well & with love
I don't believe Miriam was thinking about the cushite color, because miriam was also a dark woman that's why she was turned white. How can God turn someone white that is already white. This was because the cushite didn't worship the same God as they did and she ruled over moses.
"because miriam was also a dark woman that's why she was turned white." You should understand that the Bible meant it literally when it said Miriam turned white. Literally, Europeans look more yellow than White, but calling them white is an expression, not literal. I've never seen a person that is actually "white", and yes there is a white layer under human's skin, of any race. As i already point out that Europeans aren't literally white, I do know a skin disease that turns people white. It's called vitiligo, and it affects all races. I've seen a few Caucasian affected by it, and the affected areas were literally white, completely different from their color.
I honestly didn't know this, Im 12, and theres this boy in my class named [enter his name] who is black (I'm white) who is absolutely hilarious and were friends. Now, I don't like him, however, my friend teases me saying "Ooo you like [his name]!" Today my mom asked who she likes and she told her and then said "I know who [my name] likes!" I knew who she was talking about immediately. "no I don’t.." -me "...who is it?" -my mom "[his name]” -friend Then my mom gave me a death stare. I told her it was just a joke of hers. "Well she doesn't really need to joke about that, you what I mean? He's not the right color." I nodded my head like I did, but really I was hurt by this. Then I thought, is it against God for a white woman to like/marry a black man. I watched this. Now I'm upset with my mom. She might not believe that its right, but I do. As long as the lord says its right I say its right. I'm allowed to marry/like whoever I want! Look, I love my mother with all my heart, but I can't believe that she would force me into this. I follow the lord Edit: Okay so…Um I’m 15 now and felt the need to reword this and edit the names out of this because I don’t want my name on the internet. Yes I still feel it’s wrong my mom feels this way about a white person being with a black person. And it is not against the Bible. I just think the way I worded this was weird. 12 year old me was kinda bad at wording things. Also this kid in the story doesn’t go to my school anymore and I only slightly talk to him online. Thanks for reading! 🖤
These questions still amuse and amaze me. When you think you have heard it all... Can a man wear a black and a white sock and still be saved ? Of course not....you have to stop with tea first.
"Be not unequally yoked". Marry a black man if he is saved, and washed in the blood of Christ! The fact you asked begs the question whether you are saved or not though.
Rex Krueger Aww. Poor baby. Your parents didn't give you enough attention growing up, did they? Was it your dad that beat you or your mom? Also, why can't you idiotic racists get your story straight? Did black people come from Cain or Noah's son Ham? Is that too much for your tiny little brain to handle. Awww. Poor baby.
Rex Krueger Lol. Your stupidity is hilariously sad. I'm a penguin. Black and white. And I am beautiful. You are so full of so much self hatred that you have to hate others. It's sad really. I feel sorry for you.
A white woman CAN marry a black man, a white man CAN marry a black woman, a white woman CAN marry a black woman, a white man CAN marry a black man. End of discussion.
Moses married a Black Ethiopian women. His sister along with Aaron laughed and mocked him and a terrible leprous rash covered her whole body, because God was angry with her. Numbers ch 12
Really thought these comments were going to be racist epithets.. I’m glad to see so many people who understand were all one race and our love of god and each other should be our main focus
@Sambo Niccaz ain't shxt see that's odd to me. what's make it hard for white and black to be together? tell me. give me a good reason why they cant be together.
@Sambo Niccaz ain't shxt what are you talking about? I've never seen that. it must be where you live and your culture doesn't like mixed kids. but i haven't seen that.
Evangeline Wynne Why shouldn't this be a question? It's great that he addressed this question for those who are not clear on this issue or for those who hold a belief system that isn't biblical. Praise God for questions like this that allow us the knowledge to love others the way Christ commands us to.
"Whom" is not masculine it just means a PASSIVE form of the pronoun "WHO". "Whom" refers to someone who's RECEIVING an action instead of PERFORMING the action. For example "whom have you picked for a date?” (the person being picked is not the one performing the action, but RECEIVING it, therefore is referred as "whom" not "who". As opposed to "who picked you for a date?” in this case the person picking for a date was PERFORMING the action, not receiving, therefore referred as "WHO" (ACTION) and not "whom" (PASSIVE or RECEIVING an action). Very few people know the correct use of "who" and "whom".
I think he’s referring to the original Hebrew text and the word “whom” in regards to the sentence structure and how it was before translated rather than English who and whom.
The fact this is a question is sad. God created all humans white and black. What if you stand before Jesus, and you realize He is black. Would it make a difference? Revelation states his feet were like bronze, and his hair like wool. (A person of color and nappy hair). Its also been proven Michaegelo painted those images of the white sliky hair man we see everywhere.
yayrwe The debate over color is useless, and pointless. In the end every so called "race" will try to be the best. The enemy has done a good job of causing division, making other "races" think they're superior. I also do not believe Christ was a white man and blond hair in such a hot climate, that's absurd! God purposely left out Christ's image so we wouldn't worship a image or "race." and actually the world is majority ppl of color, a quick google search will prove that. The media paints it the other way.
ThTs exactly what i thought, but I guess sometimes we gotta to answer stupid ignorant questions, I love that he did it with love and gentleness. That's what I learned from this
+bkjetsfan1 He is from the Israel/Palestine region so wouldn't be white /or/ black but likely looked Arabic. And we know from Isaiah He wasn't really all that good looking, either. Which is fine by me :-)
I have heard people say they prefer to date/marry someone of their own race/culture. I have also heard people say that it is better for the marriage and better for the children. That's what I've heard.
I mean how can this be a topic at any time since the holy spirit came upon christians. How is it possible for a believing christian to assuming this is a general criteria for god.
Amen ! white and black couples are also beautiful together in the sight of Jesus Christ if they both are his children and they dwell in him and him in them. Jesus Christ according to bible had feet like bronze and hair like wool those are just a few things I know about my savor Amen. God is highly creative with his colors. God is absolutely not the Arthur of discrimination nor evil or hate praise God for his way of thinking.
+saxwreckingcrew I am a open minded black man and I come from a family that is very open minded and we are that way because of Christ that dwells in us
+saxwreckingcrew lol, saved blacks don't care one way or the other if a black person marrys a white person, we only care about souls, there is no white or black in the kingdom of God. When it comes to the bible, yes we are narrow minded, from Genesis to revelation is how narrow minded we are, anything outside of Genesis and anything outside of revelation Matthew 7:14King James Version (KJV) 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. So narrow is a great word for us! 😉
What we have to understand is the images of Jesus we have in our churches and here in this country is a Americanized image of him that has not helped with racism, I don't every say Jesus was black bur if we look at the people that come from that region they are not blonde haired and blue eyed. We must live our lives for the glory of God and not allow the enemy to divide us with racism we were all created by God on this earth and must live together as one race the human race, and for those who don't like to see interracial dating well it has gone on even the first boat of Africans got here and it will never stop!
Most commentators think this is a dumb question. Just look at the racial injustice around you. look back generation or two, my uncle )a Christian) used every racial name he could think of. I'm glad the pastor gave such a strong, unequivocal answer.
GOD WANTS CHRISTIANS TO STAY AWAY, FROM NON CHRISTIANS, WHO TRY AND DEVALUE , THE WORD OF GOD, LETS EXALT THE WORLD OF GOD, EVERY MAN AND EVERY WOMEN, SHOULD LOVE FOLLOWERS OF GOD, FOLLOWERS OF GOD, FOLLOWERS OF GOD, THOSE FAITHFUL TO GOD IN JESUS NAME AMEN
@@grind709 Why hide behind a fake account and pretend to be mixed race? Are you a young boy who needs to get off the internet, or a balding white man in his 40’s who lost his wife to a black man.
@@B10401 I say it as a white man raised Protestant who is often very grieved at the fact that most of us do not truly worship Jesus. Did I hit a nerve for you?
both Moses and Abraham and also King Solomon married sub-Saharan black African women to be exact Abraham first wife was not black but his second wife was black
This is a very real question in the south. My daughter is 13 and had a discussion at school last week. There are people in our community that believe mixing of race is un biblical. My daughter challenged her friends to point out the text they are referring to and they can't.
Know that I'm late to this social gathering but i just would like to say that the great leader Moses may have been Hebrew but he was raised as an Egyptian. When he married Zeporah he had not met God yet and was not yet governed by Israeli rules. Also with so many issues affecting believers in this world which is becoming more lawless by the minute, how is marriage to someone outside your race such an issue? Under the new covenant, in Christ there is no longer Jew or Gentile, bond or free, male or female. We are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28) Let us also remember that as great as sex is, it was meant to procreate and replenish the earth. Thank you pastor, great explanation. Happy i clicked on this one
Now that you are here, maybe jesus wants to save your eternal soul. We are alive for 115 years max, but we pass on to the next life forever and he would love you to spend eternity in pure peace and joy with him. But you must except him firstly in this lifetime. Just have a little think about that. I'm praying for you. God bless x
A poor analysis of the problem and faulty application of a biblical account. The woman referred to in Nu 12 was a Cushite, which geographically embraced the area south of Egypt, but also wrapped around Sinai to NW Arabian peninsula, which is where the Midianites lived. Also, this was after the events of Ex 18 when Jethro, Moses father-in-law, had returned his wife Zipporah (a Midianite from the land of Cush) and two sons back to him in the wilderness. The whole assumption that the term Cushite in this case means that the wife was a negro from modern day Sudan is not justified when a more straightforward interpretation is obvious. Secondly, it goes from faulty biblical geography to pastoral malpractice to counsel young people to feel free to marry across vast ethnic differences as long as you are both believers. Nonsense. Choosing a mate who is a fellow Christian is necessary, but not the only criteria to consider. Cultural, familial, socio-economic, emotions of course and many other factors come into play in making a wise decision. Telling blacks and whites they have complete freedom to marry is modern day non-sense which ignores profound cultural and physiological and social handicaps that beset not only the married couple, their descendants down through the generations. For most of a American history such unions were either strongly discouraged or outlawed.
+rms3 Doesn't our Christian belief supersede culture? Yes, culture is a factor, but cultures can be, and are blended. Cultures can be shared and practiced by married couples, but if culture contradicts God's will for our lives then it should not be practiced. If culture causes us to sin, then culture has to be given up, but coming from two different cultures has nothing to do with the success of Christian marriages.
rms3 socio econ ok that applies to one of their own some women prefer rich men to low ranking and vice versa color ok and so what south Egypt pretty dark still not white correct but still had a problem with her it goes to say God Jesus almighty does not tolerate colorist racist nonsense if he didn't then he doesn't now he gave Miriam as an wise example to not be ignorant and keep your opinion to yourself if it's not of or for glorifying God almighty selah
I don't understand how so many of you don't understand the answer it's so simple there are only 2 restrictions put on marriage for a Christian 1 a man must marry a woman and a woman must marry a man and 2 they both should be Christians that's it race is completely irrelevant
I thinks it’s good that this question was asked, because there really are some people who have been taught otherwise and are genuinely quite unsure if it’s permissible. So it’s good to get a Biblical based answer. And also it’s important to explain the why and reference scripture so that when she goes to defend her husband to her Christian family and friends who oppose her marriage, she can use scripture to solidify her claims. It was necessary. :)
Khwezi Mlaba I know for many of us this question come off as ridiculous, but they are people who truly want to know. Based on the person who asked the question sounds like they may be in love with a black man but truly don't know if it dishonors God or not.
I would say it's okay that the question was brought up. Another very important thing would be for one to listen to the Holy Spirit because He teaches us all things and knows what's important to the LORD. Of course, the counsel of GOD regarding all things is embedded in scripture. I appreciate this pastor for the clarification. If you all checked well, you'll find out that only members of the white supremacists club, find the pastors argument offensive. There's nothing superior about color, it's just that, color.
They werent mad because moses wife was black, ALL the Israelites were black. the reason they were upset is because she was of a different nation, not because she was black.. Im sick of white supremacy.
A.W. Tozer fan that would have been fairly condescending to the woman who asked the question sincerely. And the entire point of the video is to give thoroughly explained answers rooted in biblical truth.
And WHERE did GOD say it's not a sin, smart mouth?!?! Did he also say "age is just a number" too?!?!?! God gave us CONSCIENCES … for REAL Christians, we know it IN OUR SOUL that it is wrong!!!
the fact that this question was even asked speaks to the persistant racism in many white ministries, including evangelical churches. i assure you that blk churches do not ask this question.
You started off ok but kind drifted near the middle. Yes moses marrying outside of his tribe or ppl meaning Israel was looked down upon by his siblings bc of belief meaning for lack of better words religious beliefs. However moses was black marrying another black woman of a different ppl in which worthipped other gods othrr than the God of Abraham. It had nothing to do with being black or white. Israel was black as was the other surrounding nations at that time. The europeans aka (white) never came until the greeks and roman invaded egypt and judea. Nevertheless marry in Christ Jesus i agree, peace!
Jews were never Black. Have you read the Bible? Jews came from Iraq (Chaldea), a Semite family. God called them to make them his own people, and gave them the name Israel. You sound a lot like the unrepentant gentiles who would deny the historic facts of the Bible. Btw, I am Haitian if you're wondering. Go read the stories about David and his children and their physical descriptions. You'll find out that they look pretty much similar to the Jews you see today. I don't exactly mean Jews look European, but they always looked Arab (Semite), and genetically, the Jews and Arabs are the same. Oh let me give you a hint: David had red hair.
Nehemyah7 Moses and Abraham both married a BLACK WOMAN " Moses first Wife was Black " " Abraham second Wife was Black " , and Semetic People are People of Color...Middle Eastern Asian People Mixed With Black.
ChristianOne so jews were never black. But all you see in movies and everywhere else is europeanized. But your problem is that someone says he was black ( which is more historically accurate)? Whats more ethnically comparable to Arabs, africans or europeans? People like you prefer whitenized bible but JUMP at the notion of the Bible looking closer to your ancestors than lets say, Germans. L.O.L its sad
