Only 37 minutes in, but just wanted to say this is fascinating. Really interesting talking points.

Anti depressants haven’t worked for me. I’ve been improving steadily since April (because the waiting list to see a clinical psychologist on the nhs is so horrifically long in my area that we’ve had to fork out and see one privately as although I’ve already been waiting virtually 2 years there’s still several months, as it stands, to go). I am finally going to uni this year. But I started anti depressants almost 2 years ago. I want to come off them but they won’t let me for at least several more months because I still sometimes get suicidal. Also The Doctor Who Gave Up Drugs is a very interesting documentary. Apparently fluoxetine (Prozac) is the only anti depressant that has actually been proven to improve symptoms of depression etc. And yet the most commonly prescribed SRis for things like anxiety/ocd/depression are sertraline and citalopram (sertraline I started on and citalopram I’m on now).

Probably a great episode but just for anyone watching; If you're depressed or paranoid I would not suggest taking psychedelics at all unless under strict supervision from a "medical' professional. May be mentioned in the episode, if so I apologise, not trying to preach just help.
