I am taking my riding course in 2 weeks then i will get a Can-Am 900 Ryker. I have been watching all your videos and can't wait to get it. I said when they came out with one i do not have to shift. I am getting it. My husband has a beautiful Harley and I love being on it. But it is my turn to have a toy. It will be my birthday gift to me at 62.

Really enjoy your videos and when we can't ride I like watching your rides etc until I can. The Spiders are great but we got the Rykers because they aren't so big and they are just quick and tighter handling to us. God Bless and keep safe.

First of all, I love your posts. I enjoy all of them. And even if I didn’t I wouldn’t say so here. I try to keep any comments that I have on anything positive. I had to say that you are completely right about the waving. I do the same thing that you do. It doesn’t matter what you’re riding, I’m gonna wave. If you wave back that’s good, if not, that’s OK too. Cause at the end of the day it is about the ride. It’s not a bike thing it’s a human thing. And When I am in the car and I see bikers go by I pray for their safety, no matter what bike, race, creed, color or national origin. Human to human. That’s what matters. Sorry for the rant. Keep posting! Have a blessed day!

Totally agree! my rally seat is super comfortable. I couldn't understand why people were complaining about their seats, but now I know why! the rally seat is higher quality foam.

Just finished getting my learners after a can am course, I rode an F3’s spyder, and a 900 and a 600 ryker, and by far the rykers were the best I rode, cheers

The shape of the gas tank makes accurate readings from the pressure sensing fuel level indicator. The tank is "L" shaped, and the pressure tends to remain the same until the fuel level drops to the lower portion of the "L".

This was a great video. Watched all of it. In for a Ryker or Spyder, can't make up my mind yet. Moving to Mexico, and there are a lot of speed bumps and humps and not sure if the Ryker, which is lower, deals with it. Liked and subscribed

Nice that is neat. Here in the state of GA you can get a specific 3 wheeler license instead of a full blown 2 wheel license, so this makes it a bit easier to get on a Can Am.

Just saw this video. You asked the question if a RT is easier than a Ryker to get through the corners. I actually have the 2020 RT LIMITED & it sticks pretty well in the corners but it IS a bit heavier than your Ryker. So I would say it's a trade off between comfort & sporty handling. Meaning I think the Rykers can be thrown into corners more aggressively than a RT, but make no mistake, the RT can hold its own.

I noticed that I get more waves than ever on my Ryker Rally. I used to ride a Gold Wing and a Victory Cross Country. More people are excited and want to know about the Ryker. Never had that before and I've been riding for 20 years.

Oh ya same here. And almost every time I get gas someone starts a chat about the Ryker. Some viewers have reached out and mentioned certain riders don’t wave and I wanted to let them know that they shouldn’t worry about that and enjoy their ride. Those same very few riders don’t wave anyone. Cheers hope you enjoyed the video.

@@RideAboutNow I have found that I get pretty much the same response regarding waves whether I'm on the Ryker or one of my two-wheelers. I receive waves from pretty much every demographic but two: M/C's usually don't wave (and it's probably best not to try to initiate a wave when they are riding in formation). and adventure bike riders ( I don't know what that's about).

Can't believe I watched all of this - but it was a great experience! I love your camera perspective - really felt like I was on the bike. Commentary was good too, really informative info. I do my class in another week, but will probably purchase in the Spring (wife talked me down a little for now, as I'd have to park it almost right away for the winter). Was all set on the Ryker until she started asking why I don't upgrade to the Spyder...damn why did she have to plant that seed? LOL Thanks for sharing, looked like a great road trip. BTW what camera and mic did you use to film?

It seems alot of people are buying the 900ACE, then spending the money on purchasing aftermarket front/rear shocks, sway bars, etc when they could have just as easily purchased the Rally. When you add all that up, its basically a wash. I am on the fence on purchasing a used Spyder or Ryker and if I decide to get the Ryker, it will be the Rally.

If’ve been getting 44.5 mpg on my 600. Before I discovered that my tire pressure was way off. Low pressure. I was only getting 40.3 mpg.

Congrats! I added a usb charger to the Ryker connecting it to a battery and bringing the wire to the handlebars. You need a SEA connector to usb connector. Amazon is full of them.

NY with a mc endorsement you can ride two or three wheels, or you can get a three wheel endorsement and just ride a three wheeler.

In NY state if you get a three wheel license you can only ride three wheeler if you get two wheel you can ride both .

You also made mention about motorcycle riders not waving to Can-Am riders. I'd say 99% of other riders wave at me. Yeah some don't but they could be zoning out or checking gauges or something. But like you said don't let it ruin your ride. I stupidly ran out of gas the other day stuck in the median & 2 Harley & 1 sport bike rider stop to offer assistance. How cool is that? I'll definitely need to pay it forward.

In the UK you can drive/ride any trike if your over 21 years old on a car licence.

Dang that is pretty cool. In Atlanta you can now get a license just for 3 wheelers if you want which is much easier. I have a regular motorcycle license that works too. But you surely can’t beat just needing a regular drivers license.

I thought it was good. I had the stock rally seat with an air hawk on it and I had a F4 customs windshield on it that made the ride comfortable. You need a throttle lock as well. Check out my videos where I take the Ryker from Atlanta to Miami and back.

Keep your trike in ECO mode, don’t stay on the throttle (just cruise) and you’ll get 35+ mpg, last- treat it like a sports car when it comes to fuel just enjoy the ride! Sports car enthusiasts doesn’t look at the mpg, passenger and storage space, and insurance cost!

I find that keeping it in ECO Off mode works just fine for me. I have the throttle response ready when I need it, and it gives me 150 miles to the tank that I am happy with.

History of the motorcycle wave was started by Harley folks to acknowledge other Harley riders. It grew from there but many keep it in just the Harley community.

@@RideAboutNow I would say five hours. Every ones different. I had an Ultimate seat on my Goldwing and it is better than the Ultimate seat. I love the seat. It gives you a little more room to scoot back, since you don't have that back lip. If you are going to do the Iron butt, I would suggest you get running boards. Makes a huge difference. You can move around way more and really be comfortable. I know it runs into money. Take Care.

I think it wld be cool if you cld get the windshield with something like your vision prescription in it or one that has like a binocular/zoom in/out feature for ppl who may have low vision🤔, a bioptic windshield

Oh ya it topped out at 37.7. This was with an average speed of 55pmh through the back roads. I was surprised just as much because when I filled up in the morning I reset everything.

You know I understand I've been riding since I've been 16 My 750 Honda automatic Seventy eight My 78 and a 1/2 Harley Low rider . Then I move from Detroit the California I bought a 1990 goldwing I bought a 1990 goldwing Which I had for 3 And a 1/2 years And then later Bought a 1995 SE Golding20 anniversary Which I invested more than I can get out of it . I considered buying the Yamaha trans continental 2021 But Don't know if there still making them. And I've been looking at the canam spyder for past 2 years . I will be 65 at the beginning of 2021 . I like the bikes and I like the spider So I am at a crossroad. My wife likes to ride with me But she thanks A 2 wheel Might be too much for me So I considering the Can-Am spyderLtd

I think the Spyder will be a great choice. Especially the new RT limited models. They are closest things to a gold wing this side of 3 wheels.

In Texas you have to have a motorcycle license to ride a three wheeler.

@@RideAboutNow there is a company out there making a kit to add the function but it’s only 15 degrees of tilt which doesn’t make it very attractive for the money. I would want at least 35 - 40 degrees of tilt in order for it to be fun.

Oh ya when you ride in a group it is an understood kind of thing, not law just a thing so we can all stay together, unless it is a red light then you stop. One time we were riding and reached a stop sign with about 15 bikers and there was a cop in his car across from us and waved at all the bikers to go all at once.

@@RideAboutNow quite honestly from setting an example and running to stop sign right out the gate, I just moved on, but you do you! I have a page with over 9000 Ryders on it, and it is just something I personally wouldn’t do. Stay safe! #3DOWN
