Hi. I have my skid plate on for a couple of months and have never had a problem with clearance. Not even over speed bumps. I love the look of it. Don’t forget the $25 coupon code. 😉
@@RykerRydesThat thing has a lot of bad reviews with it scraping the bottom of the ryker, hitting pot holes, hitting speed bumps, all kinds of stuff I'm not getting that on my Ryker, I want to keep as much clearance as I can on the bottom
Hey Beth I noticed that plate is kinda thick, how much don't it reduce ur total ground clearance? It looks great an all, but the Ryker is low to the ground in the first place.
i`m curious after how long time will become from "clear" to "matt" as you said it`s act like "protective" plate.... meaning any stonechip, rain, dust, mud etc will scratch it
Interesting question. I have had mine on for over a year, and still looks good. But we do sell a protective coating to cover it. Protects from scratches etc
Unfortunately, not every state allows under glow lighting on vehicles. Double unfortunately, my state is one of those or I would jump on this in a heart beat.
@@RykerRydes No, you're allowed to have like those fender lights you have, white on front/red on back. But anything like the Knight Rider lights you see on some Rykers, or under body glow lights like that skid plates offers, while driving, will earn you a chat with the state patrol, and a not subtle suggestion that you turn them off. You can install and use them if you're parked at like a bike show, but not while you're actually driving down the road. Yea I know, it sucks, but what are ya gonna do.... :)
I totally understand your concern, but just from my experience - having had the Halo on my Ryker for almost a year, I have never "bottomed out" with it.

Beth love the skid plate but i was wondering on the Rally there is a skid plate. Does that have to be removed to install the Hallo or does it go over top of it?
