Welcome! I will be posting all my modifications and my attempts to do them myself! There are not too many female motorcycle youtubers. So here I am! THESE VIDEOS ARE FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY. PLEASE CONSULT A LICENSED CAN AM DEALERSHIP BEFORE MAKING ANY MODIFICATIONS ON YOUR RYKER.
It locks the throttle, not the mph. A throttle lock cannot judge uphill, downhill, headwind, tailwind. You need to make Minor adjustments by hand until you get it where you like it, and then you're going to have to fiddle with it from time to time
The Range and MPG functions are whack and completely inaccurate on my '22 Ryker 600. Trip ODO is fine, and you best learn how many miles equals range left.
Another video declaring that it will only take an hour to install this back rest for your seat. And as usual this is a lie. First of all why are motorcycles put together with Torx bolts. The screws are made from monkey metal and will strip at the least resistance. The instructions, if you get any, leave out half of what you need to know to do the job or are so dark you can't make anything out. All this is done on purpose so you will quit and take it in for a professional to install it for you for hundreds of dollars. The screw holds are just some insert that will fly out of the way the moment you try to screw it in. The bolts are never long enough. They are trying to hold together 6 pieces of brittle plastic and your addition of one more cheap piece of plastic will cause the bolt not to engage with the threads. I will never add anymore supposedly bolt-on accessories to any of these bikes ever again. I don't fancy being lied to.
Welcome to the channel!! Thanks for watching. No, I do not have a separate video just for the F3. But there are a lot of details in this video. Thanks for watching.
Excellent video! Although I have a 2014 Spyder, I have just recently ordered BajaRons Shock adjusters, and was wanting to know of the removal / install process. I have watched other videos but your video was perfect for showing how to use the Spring Adjustors in a safe and careful manner atop a work bench. Some great tips, TY. Now, I'm not so intimidated by my upcoming wrenching episode. Thanks again.
One question, do they connect directly to the battery or to the 3 different accessories wires. The one next to the battery? The one on the left side under the panel near the air filter? Or the one under the passenger seat? Is there a remote? Thanks Beth
I know this video is a lot older but I've noticed you don't have that mirror anymore on your setup that you have now. Is there a reason why? We bought this for my wife a few years back and still have not added it because we just now finally got her an appropriate sized windshield. So this just curious why you don't use that anymore
Thanks for watching. I simply don’t have it on anymore, because my comfort level on the Ryker has increased a lot since then. It’s a great mirror, just don’t think I need it like I used to. Hope that makes sense.
The label on my Kenda tire on my 2022 900 Ryker says 44 psi max, so I set it at that. But you are right, on the inside panel it says 25 PSI in front and 28 PSI in back… lucky they did not explode on me 😅
Just did this one today and your video helped tremendously, especially the panel part. I used the kit that replaces just the pump, regulator, and filter. I will never to that again, as it only saved me about $80 but cost me hours of time and anxiety. I did want to mention that I followed the service manual which instructs that before messing with any fuel hoses to depressurize the fuel hoses by disconnecting the fuel pump electrical connector on top of the fuel tank while the engine is running and let the fuel lines depressurize, killing the engine. Because of this I had very little fuel come out when I disconnected the hose.
You missed a golden opportunity! Before you switched the bars, tell Andy you did switch the bars and get her test ride impressions not knowing the original bar was still in place. Then switch the bars and retest and compare impressions.
I just bought a 2024 Candy Apple Red Spyder RT Limited on Saturday, June 8th, 2024, and I will admit this is a huge advancement in motorcycle technology since I last owned one... MANY years ago. It is disappointing that Android isn't directly compatible, but I understand that this is a Google restriction and not BRP. I was able to link/pair my Android and used the Media feature to play music from my phone as we rode around through Palo Duro Canyon on Sunday afternoon, and it was very nice since Radio signal is limited at the bottom of the canyon. I have downloaded the BRP Go App, and Genius App for Navigation, and hope to try that out in the next day or two, to see if I can use the BRP Go app with the compatible Genius App, and get navigation on screen.
