I’ve got a 2022 RTL which I got last year & we love it so much! Upgraded all the reflectors to lights for high visibility, plus added a front grill light. Just changed out the factory sway bar & end links for a better riding experience! If you want more pep to your spyder you can install a pedal commander throttle response gadget which overrides the bike’s ECM , there are 5 modes & 18 settings!!!! Definitely makes it sporty , the sport plus will burn out your rear tire in no time. Other than that enjoy! Regards from Stephen (Alberta Canada).
I live about an hour from Pioneer Motorsports. They're good people. I know all the roads you were on. It's a nice part of the state to ride around int. I've been riding for 50 years, and the thrill of riding is as strong as it was 50 years ago. Ride safe.
Pioneer are great people...frankly they are like family I'm very lucky. You are so blessed to ride these roads what ride Chad took me on this day...my gosh it was fun. Please ride safe and thank you
I am picking up my new RT Ltd Sea to Sky this weekend. So looking forward to spending a lot of time in the saddle. And yes mine comes with the back rest!! My retirement present to myself!! 50 years of riding bikes, this will be a treat.
You are exactly right about about getting a high riding these spyders. I have owned mine for a bit over 2 years placing over 35k miles on it and always feel great while riding. I think the mrs. has figured this out so when I am in a poor mood she tells me to go for a ride. Much of the country side you are riding in is similar to what I ride in daily in North Alabama, curvy roads, farmlands, and the Tennessee river. I get serious wind therapy out of this spyder. Good video, keep up the good work.
I know this post is old but this is a nice review I love your honest enthusiasm but if I may add just one teeny weeny bit, "If" you could please take a few seconds to actually show us what you are riding if helps the viewers visualize what the bike they just saw with your point of view ride. You are not the only one that does this and it's not a deal breaker in me liking, subcribing ringing that bell. Thank you and again thanks for taking us along with you.
Others have left the same, and you are exactly right don’t feel bad. I have 2024 a demo spider at my house this and have started the video series exactly what you have requested showing and doing a walk around of the spider. I hope you watch this new series on and thank you for commenting ride safe and peace. 😊
LM I got Harley on my brain...but with my knee stopping and holding up the bike is not fun at all...I just did this ride yesterday I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Im worried how these spiders depreciate. I hope you're riding say hi to the gang please.
No I did not buy it...but I really enjoyed the ride. My brother has ten bikes and he loves to ride his Spyder. I glad you like your bike they are so much fun Ride Safe thank you for for commenting.
Steering is NOT rack and pinion! The steering shaft goes down to the DPS(Dynamic Power Steering) unit with a pitman arm on the other end that tie rods both connect to.
I have a 2022 RTL. Got her in October and she’s currently in the shop. They are trying to figure out why she’s killed two batteries in less than two weeks. I’m sad but I’m hoping it’s nothing serious and I get her back soon. I have a loaner in the meantime but I miss my Rosie! :(
I love you names your bike that’s so cool I’m working on names for my bikes. My guess is voltage regulator as typically they go to lowest bid. It’s great they gave you a loaner you’ll get Rosie back soon 🙂 thank you ride safe you have an awesome machine
I actually got her back today!!! I never even got to ride the loaner. It’s ok I’m glad to have Rosie back! Now I’m just waiting on my license plate and we’ll be all set! Love my rtl!!!!
What is that mounted to the a steering wheel in your video is that like an Android auto thing If so what is the name brand and how do you like it ? I have a 2020 RT limited and would like to add GPS and Android auto. Thanks for your video
I believe the previous owner had a Garmin GPS mounted this bike. I use Garmin on my other motorcycles and it works pretty good. Thank you for commenting ride safe.
My God your brother lives in a beautiful area lucky man. This trail was awesome thank you for telling me...did you see his house tell me what time in the video please
I have had mine since Apr and I would not touch BRP go with a 10 foot usb cord! Have my Garmin Zumo XT2 with sat maps. Been riding since 62, and I think your are too far away. does not look like the suggested 2 sec. hum, 6th is too hi? what a 40 mph run is no fun. turning 4200 in 6th is just about right. Just lean your top half, the rest of you has little effect on the ride, particularly with an upgraded swaybar. Otherwise beautiful countryside. I gave my 08wing to my son because i could nolonger pick it up. The Sypder does not fall over. enjoy
You heard the muffler on the Spyder ahead of me...it was loud I wouldn't want that muffler...to answer your question I don't know. My spyder's muffler was very quiet.
Tractors take days to drive that route unless you get one that will take the entire road. Buying one was not a waste of money. I enjoy my spyder since I cant ride a 2 wheeler.
