If you are on foot, I always recommend a pike for protection. We all hate Troodons knocking you out and Microraptors dismounting you. Thyla is one of the few tames that prefers cooked food over raw. It will help it tame faster. Each dino's food goes down at different rates as with its torpor. Every bit the dino takes lowers the taming efficiency. Congrats on completing the mission of getting the Thyla 'Bear-Cat'. Another great episode!

Congrats on the thyla! Tips for the future. 1. Keep bolas on when exploring. Most smaller creatures can be immobilized. 2. your stone house with stairs leading in make the perfect thyla trap. 3. Thylas prefer cooked meat or the highest tier kibble. Good luck

Waiting for tames to wake up can be rough especially in the Redwoods a couple of spiked walls placed around your sleepy Giant will protect them until they're ready

Building a trap for thylo's is a good idea four foundations 8 double doorways and two ramps place trap ahead of a thylo in the tree stand at the top of the stairs fire tranquilizers stand your ground until Thalia reaches the stairs turn and jump in running out the back silo will be trapped inside..cooked prime is preferred but cooked meat will do

do you know if you tame an argy, that bird can fly down pick up a thylo, you can carry it to a trap, drop it into it, 4 foundations, walls, deop thylo into trap

mysel I do my best to have two weapons like two cross bows one for tranq arrows and the other for killing that way I dont waste tranqs as for a thyla they can just be caught in mostly simple trap using doorways and foundations and a ramp you have it chase you up the ram and into the trap you just keep rung through the door way and its trapped and even of they dont go into the trap it will stay out and you can go inside staying safe shooting it . also best to us cooked sheep meat or prime meat to tame them. I am wondering where yor pike is you could possibly have killed a few dinos and those bugs with it lol I was so surprised that it took so long for any thyl to jump out of a tree and hug you o death before lol why the ycal l them huggy bears your spyglass ( super spy glass) will tell you what a dino eats ( for taming) and which is best and how many you should have also tammed the emale and greeded a few low level thylas thylas can climb trees and most steep hills can jump down a fair distance taking very little fall damage and if you get a even half decent one are great anks you can sit om the shooting at dinos trying to tame them while the thyla takes the hits I thinkj the reason why you cannot take them into a boss fight is because hey are very strong even a low level one liek you have are very tanky you wont need to put any p[ints into stamina put it all into health and damage I usualy do health one next damage back and for. I have had thylast with 30000 health and over 800 damage can take on anything well accept for a giga unless it was extremely low level . also be careful when megatherium's are arpound ( that big firry animal tha twas around you when you were taming tha tthyla) if they eat a bug they rage and are very powerful its like the yare on drugging the ygo crazy, which is why they are a ood boss fighte for the giant spider boss whic hI am hopeing to see you fight just to see if you can handle the spiders lol. you learned something which is good also leaving that small trap\shack in the red woods is a good idea should have put a bed inside also
