The problem with having the floor come through is that some items need to be placed on the foundation and placement may be difficult at times. The higher height is much better looking as well. Loved the time speeding up when you weren't talking, makes base building videos better unless it's a tutorial. When the box was going into the floor when trying to place it you can turn off snapping and it will fix that. It tells you at the bottom of the screen what the button is. If you wanted you can build 3 ceilings out from foundations. So, you could have a hanging terrace if you wanted. For painting a picture you can take a picture of your dino's, base, or location and paint it as long as you have those colors in your inventory. Yes, you can give yourself tattoos with right click on the paintbrush. Loved the video -> BeeOhDee

Excellent base build. The proper base that you'll be happy with can take forever to complete it feels like. Thyla is 1 of the best travel mounts in the game.

create a generator for power, put lighting in your base, if not it will be way dark

I bet there’s a mod that you will might like the ark addition mod with some of my favorite Dino’s

I forgot to mention I like your build much better hen I could I am not very good at building I keep things simple lol. I think in the original ARK game my two favorite maps for looks are 1st Aberration very good looking map but also I in my opinion the hardest map in the entire series especially if you r playing the story line because you cant bring anything with you until you reach an obelisk or until you get to tek my second favorite map is Ragnarök because also right away you can get carrots tame a horse or two also breed them when I wasn't playing story line I would go to Ragnarök gete a couple horses breed then use them to knock out other animals and dinos to tame :)
