In this elden ring video I'm testing if any of the main bosses in elden ring can survive santa's strongest reindeer. To test this I upscaled the regal ancestor spirit to a consacrated snowfield scaling while also adding frostbite damage to some skills.

Yeah, considering its performance against Morgott and Gideon, I thought it was going to get smoked for the majority of the match-ups. But then it kept on winning, even embarrassing Placi.

@@willianzorzi6026 yes, The REGAL ancestor can heal. the one in the high part of Siofra. the regular ancestor spirit, the one in lower siofra, cannot heal, not teleport. although the one in the video is largely buffed

Maybe an unpopular opinion but this showcases one thing I dislike about RPGs. The scaling makes an enormous difference in how certain enemies perform against others. Morgott would have many more wins if he scaled to the same level as others. Same with Renalla, Radahn, Godrick and the Fallingstar Beast (among others). Scaling some bosses to endgame would make for interesting content.

Its a shame most people overlook or straight up dismiss this boss because it isn't a generic sword wielding anime character flailing and flipping about at Mach 3 like a beyblade in a tumble drier being sucked up by an Oklahoma tornado. The ancestor spirit was the only boss in the game that made me feel that CLASSIC Souls vibe.

Agreed! His music is probably one of my favorite tracks in the entire game, and I really love his moveset and overall theme. Really cool boss with incredible design, it's unfortunate that he's so underwhelming, as someone else pointed out..

the regal ancestor spirit we all deserve would have been such a nice final touch to this one amazing fight, it's so sad how low his stats actually are happy to see him getting some love anyway, it's been a while since Morgott hasn't done anything cool, poor omen always get crushed Morgott's revenge where he get a lot of new shiny spells and obliterates everyone ?

Morgott was banned from using Rain of Swords. In fact, Morgott's AI requires him to have a 10,000 times chance of using Sword Rain when his HP falls below 80%. But he didn't use it in the whole game.
