Can Christians Celebrate Holidays? - FULL TEACHING 

My personal conviction canceled holidays for my family. I teach my children to celebrate Jesus everyday and keep Him close to our heart always, but as far as the pagan holidays, we don't endulge and i don't feel anyway towards others who do nor any guilt about us not celebrating. We have never used the holidays to evangelize either so I didn't see a purpose once I learned the truth about them. May the Holy Spirit lead and guide us always. 💜🙏🏽

I don't celebrate holidays because I know the truth behind them. It's not as important to me as it was before. I'm not missing out on anything. God Bless...

The Holy Spirit is the one that leads whether to celebrate something or not or whether to homeschool, public school, or private. It's all about following the calling your family has for the kingdom. Our 1st ministry is the home if you have a wife or children. Make disciples in your home 1st. No one else will be held accountable for your own home but you.

Its not about being religious!!!! Its being righteous!

Holy Spirt told me not to celebrate worldly holidays which Includes Christmas. I ask, “Why are Christians celebrating Christmas then? The Holy Spirit said, “It’s because they enjoy spending time with there family(family gathering).” I fear God so much I’ve rather celebrate nothing that doesn’t give all the glory to the Lord and serve the Lord the way he wants us to serve him. I’m not going to mix the worldly ways with Gods word. Matthew 7:21-23 “I Never Knew You” 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ This is why I fear God so much. All of our calling is different and because of that we can’t do and follow what others advise. Always go to God first on your journey. I love you all and I pray only God shows you the way, in Jesus name, Amen 🙏🏼

Facts. Because I grew up in a religious household. EVERYTHING was bad, I mean everything even sports.We had religious anger. All my siblings and I ran away from home as fast as we could. Thank God for his mercy and I'm finding my way back to Jesus. I learned what NOT to do with my children. I ask God to help lead by example and that the Holy spirit encounter my children.

Me and my family do NOT celebrate halloween. If we get rejected by people because they celebrate it, no problem God loves us and will know why we do not celebrate because we respect HIM! And will not incounter with the devils celebration. If God send us as christians to evangelize we will conform his will and his calling! Don't do anything on you own, consult with God first🙏🏻

Pastor, respectfully, Yah called us to observe His feast days continually throughout all generations. I gotta disagree with your interpretation that we should respect eachothers decisions about so called holidays. These 'holidays' are pagan and demonic....Yah said dont honor me like they worshipl their (false) gods. Its different to win souls and educate on a demonic holiday then to partake in the traditions

I lovingly disagree with you brother on this. Has nothing to do with being religious… Jesus didn’t celebrate romanized holidays he celebrated Jewish HOLYdays… this is the problem with the Americanized Gospel. This is your PERSONAL conviction and you shouldn’t tell someone they’re religious because the same scriptures you used regarding certain days technically preached against your opinion. NO CHILD needs a costume or wicked holiday to operate in the spiritual gifts. During Mardi Gras, we minister to many and pass our tracks. We don’t participate, nor dress up in costumes… we dressed in the beauty of holiness… clothes in humility… not religion. As a child in SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA, once our church and surrounding ministries learned better, we STOPPED celebrating Halloween and NO the kids didn’t become the worst, two became powerful ministers, a gospel singer, etc. came from that group. But once again, I lovingly disagree. This isn’t bondage, this is your opinion and personal conviction… if I preached this to people in New Orleans during Mardi Gras, NO ONE would pay attention.

Interesting topic, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with public, private or homeschooling your children. It really depends on what God leads you to do.

I used to celebrate Halloween. Christian Participation in Halloween seems to me now the same as participating in yoga. Reason being bc when you get the candy it’s a symbol of collecting an offering isn’t it? An offering tied to the kingdom of darkness that you yoke yourself to for one night? I think Anton Anton Lavey the author of satanic Bible said “I am glad that Christian parents let their children worship the devil at least one night out of the year. Welcome to Halloween.” Might need to fact check that though.

Technically you didn't celebrate halloween.... you didn't participate in any way of the customs/traditions/rituals of it. It was just another day for you. You were you, doin what you usually do and it was Oct 31st..... Your reasoning of "celebrating" is pretty misleading as a leader to the church.

With my daughter I just stopped I was not dressing her up as anything, we have power but dressing up is dressing up. Again, Satan's representation of the evergreen tree is his rebellion against EL SHADDAI (God Almighty). Satan is using many ways to deceive and mock God, opposing the truth (green deal, green card etc). In the scriptures the color green represents: Faith, Hope, Life and OBEDIENCE to God's law, Holy Days, and Statutes. The book of Psalms is full of examples like these: Blessed is the man who walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...he shall be like a tree, planted by the rivers of waters... Psalm 23...He make the me lye down in green pastures... Our adversary satan, the serpent mimics God and mocks the truth of God by twisting words, the same way he twist his body when he crawls... Yeshua is the Way, the Truth, and the Life...and He said MANY will come in His Name... He warns us to be not deceived... 2 Thessalonians 2:8-9 And then the LAWLESS one will be revealed (whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth, and will destroy with the brightness of His coming): Even the one whose coming is according to the inner working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders. The enemy will resemble the truth BUT he will speak against the TRUTH. He will do miracles, signs, and lying wonders. He will mix truth and error...He will say God's law, which was carved from Sapphire stone is done away with...he will call God's law religion instead of love...the enemy our adversary will twist the Word of God to appease others. We as Christians need to be careful with celebrating Halloween the Bible says be separate cause I am separate be holy cause I am holy! At the end of the day, pray to god for guidance

That’s a spirit of compromise. I’m 50 years old and grew up in a house that did not celebrate Halloween. I didn’t fall apart. I’m leading a victorious life in Christ. My children do not celebrate Halloween. We learn early that we don’t need to become worldly to be social. The Godly Legacy continues.

You have no idea how many battles I had to go through with the pharisaical religious people. They don’t know being religious doesn’t give you a free pass to heaven. I have been a believer for about 2 yrs. I was listening to his prayer and not really expecting anything to happen. I have noticed I've had a lot of anger lately. I understand what hes saying, HOWEVER I was convicted by the holy spirit to not celebrate these holidays and to not compromise (example.. replacing devil costumes with angels). If you think about it, arent pagan holidays altars? ..putting on a costume snd dressing up in the name if halloween , are we not spiritually offering up our true identify to these altars? ..we need to tell our TRUTH and not worry about feeling "lame" (according to the world)..truth prevails, and we need to walk in righteousness and not compromise folks ❤

We see Christians celebrating Halloween, but we don't see satanists celebrating Good Friday with us. If people could actually get in depth to the origin of Halloween, they'd probably have second thoughts in partaking in any manner.

There is a fine balance to walking with Jesus and I find as humans when we rely on our own understanding we tend to fall to far one way or the other. God led me and my family to learn the truth about the biblical feasts and how beautiful they are and that they point towards Jesus Christ, all the things Jesus did and yet to do. I celebrate these in my own way not in man made traditions as God hates men's traditions ( Mark 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men- the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do".) I do not celebrate any holidays that glorify the enemy's kingdom as even if you put a different spin on these pagan holidays the true meaning of them does not change it is like calling a spade a fork no matter how much you call that spade a fork, dress in up as a fork it will always be a Spade. I do agree we should be fighting back and going out and speaking to people about Jesus but we also need people at home praying against the enemy. I would also say we must seek God on all things we do and listen to Him and not our own thoughts. Religion is dangerous but so is complacency, iron sharpens iron and none of us on this earth gets it all right and that is why we must listen to God, be humble and pray on all we do, search the Word and fast.
