Once I was singing cine songs and I gave my life to Christ and stopped all these things which separates me from God and which doesn't improve my faith actually. I totally agree with what Brother Johnson had mentioned regarding Ilayaraja because I loved his composition once but I couldn't take what he (the composer) had mentioned about Christ's resurrection recently.. So, to live a separate life, leave out things which separates you from Jesus.. Amen..

Cinema is already in our midst. The way christians see cinema is more important. What we take from that is all matters. As a matter of fact, Everyone have tv in their homes and mobile in their hands. 100s of satilite channels are infront of us. When it comes to mobile, youtube, netflix, prime, zee5, sunnxt etc are already one touch away. In such context, the way we see all these things plays vital role. For example, as Christians we should avoid Glorification of Heros, Glorification of Liquor and smoking should be avoided, these things should be highlighted. My opinion is Christians should watch cinema in a different perspective. More specifically, good things from movies should be considered and highlighted. Rather than to avoid we should achieve in the next form of communication.
A thief has bad and good qualities together. So, due to those good qualities I cannot encourage in what he is doing, rather I warn him from what is Sin and why he shouldn't be doing it. It might feed his family but it spoils/hurts someone at the other end. Likewise, just because good and bad there, we cannot take good from it.. Whatever comes under God's determined truth you can and should accept it(even sex, friendship, love comes under God's determined truth). It may be cinema, work, friendship... haha....even cooking, watching kids channel, doesn't gets matched with the God's determined truth, you should not and cannot live in those things as you died for those already and living to perform only our Father's will!
