FYI honey we're not actually a christian nation. The establishment clause of the bill of rights not only prohibits governments from directly establishing a religion, but also prohibits them from favoring one religion over another or religion over nonreligion. In other words, governments must treat atheism like a religion for purposes of the First Amendment.
