Somebody needs to get a memo to special forces: when melee units see a 100 foot tall Martian Tripod, run AWAY from its main weapon, not INTO its main weapon...

The Tripods were a clear menace. I thought the fire archers and missile launchers would be just as bad, but they seemed to fumble their efforts. The rifles were effective! I am pleasantly amazed.
