I'm confused, are you saying that you can't thrive and live in Thailand on a 6 figure a year income, Lmao? Vancouver and anywhere in the west I could see that being an issue. But, an issue in Thailand? You can definitely still more than thrive on a 6 figure a year income. Personally, i wouldn't even want to return to the west once I leave. Only reason to return would be to vacation and see my family. Beyond that I would plan to leave permanently. $10 million a year is an absolutely insane figure. I mean, I respect the ambition. But, I feel like you'd benefit from a interview that @Forest Lee put out with @iPaulLee. 10 million a year is an insane figure and sure reach for the stars I suppose. But, what else beside materialism are you getting from making that much? I personally would be fine and thriving in most place in the world if i simply made 6k a month residually which following the 4% rule can be achieved with 1.8 million in Vanguard ETF.
no you definitely can thrive on 6 figures in Thailand even with inflation. During and after Covid I've had a chance to live and visit Mexico and Europe where I've met other digital nomads and exposed to higher living costs. As a result I was influenced and renamed the channel to Digital Nomad World for a more global focus. My mindset is perhaps more 40's and less solo focused where I want a family and may have to support other family members but still being able to live in several locations. Having being based in Inflated Vancouver for the past 2 years you hear figures like 1M,2M being thrown around regularly and there is insane money being projected in material objects like supercars that a figure like 10M doesn't seem like much here or North America.
Hi! Wow, Vancouver must be extra costly. Earning 10 millions a year to live comfortably :D ... I guess with 10 millions you can live 100 years comfortably.
