I think in honor of MatPat we should get this video (which is game theory's most popular video) to 100 million views. It's the least we can do for him for giving us so many memories over the years❤
@@walkme2thegraveyard I did have something meaningful to add; informing you to not say something if you have nothing meaningful to say. Though, considering your reply, the only people I should be saying this to are your parents.
This video feels like something your Gym teacher would show you on a Friday when it's raining outside and he decides to show something hip and cool to the kids.
you get youtube for free as it is you cant get everything in life for free. so far this looks like the only show i would want to watch on youtube red tho which isnt enough content for me to pay for it yet.
Dude, I literally remember first seeing the thumbnail of this video A LOT A LOT back in 2017 but really I ignored it, I regret ignoring it.. By the way I will miss you so badly matpat, No one will ever be able to replace you matpat, You have a respect and a place in my heart.
Interesting this is the most popular video, EXPECIALLY since no other Game Lab videos are that high, but to see a project that definitely took more effort then most of his other videos take #1 by a large margin is nice, even if it’s a RU-vid Original
It’s been literally 6 years, wow. The crazy thing. Is that i ignored this when it first came out after like 12 hours and NOW after 6 YEARS I want to watch it
The difference between parlour irl vs in game is the extra lives. It's a massive difference when falling is just starting again rather than 3 months with a cast.
@@derekisludicrous9203 I respectfully disagree. I'm much better at controlling am avatar at speed in a game than I am my own body. Its literally the case that in a game a character usually has literal super powers and subtly advantageous mechanics to do crazy parkour stuff.
Hey, guys - no, just STOP. I realize this didn't turn out like you hoped. I, myself, am disappointed in this episode too. But DO NOT bash MatPat for it. He had one, maybe two takes, was under pressure, had under 40 days to film an entire series. He did his honest best, and is truly one of the content creators I respect by far the most. If you want someone to blame, blame youtube and their poorly planned youtube red. THEY are the ones you should leverage your complaints against, but even if you don't, Matthew Patrick of Game Theory does not deserve hate for honestly giving his best. Do not complain to, attack, go after him in any way - he does not deserve it. Leave the negativity to the marketing genius that decided a small-time creator could handle a full series on an accelerated time schedule with no prior training.
@ I know, for I am incredibly tired from being in a depressive state of mind, causing me to project self hatred outwards, and only trying to make someone laugh. Thank you for pointing out the fact that tapping on a phone screen burns two calories. Thank you so much for reminding me to stay aware of my energy consumption, as it truly is something we need to pay more attention to in our modern world.
@@nicholasberry8456 You can't assume someone is racist just because of one missed high five. Did you find other potential behaviors of racism about her?
Once opon a time like 11 months ago this video kept getting recommended to me for like 3 months and I finally clicked on it I enjoyed it and looked at his videos and found them entertaining and now I watch matpat everyday The End lol
+the_nicanor You much be SUPER fun at parties...If you can't stop being serious for a second of your life just becuae you became an adult, you REALLY are missing out....
iamtigra Nikki Jordan wow you guys really fell into that one. Like, I couldn't have made it any more obvious without putting a winking smiley at the end. Round of applause, everyone
They tried they're best... and humor wise comedy as a whole is subjective so if you didn't like the jokes then that's perfectly okay and I too was concerned for their safety but every place had foam mats to catch their fall.
This is Matpat's most current viewed video, It's really sad to see this guy just leave RU-vid and the internet like that, He carried my childhood he always helped me avoid depression because of his amazing, entertaining content, Matpat I don’t know if you are gonna look at the comments section but I'm gonna leave this message here, Thank you for these amazing 13 years they were the best of my life whatever you're going through ill hope you will overcome it, Your content actually made me learn some stuff and your content helped me avoid boredom, depression a lot and I'd also sometimes sit with my siblings and watch you we are really a huge fan of your work till this day, All of the great RU-vidrs are also leaving as well which make this even more sadder Thank you again for everything, Take care Matpat.
pretty much, it's even worse if youve practiced parkour, what they learned takes about 5 minutes of practice. then alot of perfecting but they obviously didnt do any of that.. this entire video was probably done in an hour, traveling to places included
ethan, i did for over a year until i broke my shoulder due to basically putting all the force of the jump and smashing my shoulder into concrete from 3 meters up. whats shown here is, like i said, something you can learn in 5 minutes. (as you can clearly see in the video they make most of the jumps/tricks in the first try)
How come you feel like that? I’m sure if this was my first time doing this type of stuff I would congratulate over small tricks I could never do before
He didn’t even give them any pointers what they were doing wrong, their form was off by a mile and they were only given visual representations and not actually what you were supposed to do. On the roll, he didn’t say anything about tucking your head, or rolling on your shoulder blade. “Just roll like this, done”. Kind of lazy video
Too scripted? What's wrong with people here? Game and Film Theory are scripted. This is organized. And of course it is. It's a show. Did you expect Matpat just randomly meeting other youtubers in front of a parkour Academy and he just so happened to have the camera rolling?
After doing parkour and freerunning for several years I can easily say that, for a beginner, a good dash vault is one of the hardest scariest things to get good at 😂
I also do parkour. I’ve been doing it for almost 3 years now and I can agree. It’s scary but I actually mastered it pretty quickly. The vault I struggled with most is the kong vault. For me there are 3 different classes. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced. I’m in intermediate.
mainly because they're all super annoying at doing moves that a 5 year old can do on their spare time. the kind of people that are so saccharine and twee it's just painful to listen to
also i love how this is a youtube red show yet they still need to use that dreadfull royalty free music used in the mobile strike adverts. if that doesn't say 'quality content'(!) then i dont know what does
Well for one.. This episode is free.. So it's going to be the lowest budget episode so they can make profit off the adverts on the video.. How else would it be free?! Secondly mirrors edge is more colourful than you'd think.. Especially in the new one. But even if it was mostly white.. It wasn't darkened by some film grain or set in a war setting making it mostly muddy and dark.. It was set in a beautiful colourful city.. You only have to play it again and take a second to look around to see how different it is from say.. Battlefield.. And like he said the industry was ruled by war and gun games so to have a game like mirrors edge come in, it's going to look colourful
