I’m still struggling not to give up on Fighting for my marriage. The hardest part is Fighting for my marriage alone and feeling as if GOD has completely turn away from me after telling me that “ HE WOULD RESTORE”. I am too but he always shows up just on time, keep believing and keep away from bitterness and all sins, he will come and restore all for his name's sakes.you are not alone there is alot of us who are going through these same issues but God always wait until things get to a point where it becomes impossible then he intervene and return we must glorify his name testify of him all over the world of his doing
Stay strong Joseph as I am going through the same thing right now. It is very hard sometimes but I'm relying on God to get me through. I'm fighting for my wife and my family to stay together and for us to start over. Mark 11:22-26
Keep believing. Trust in Him. My husband and I had sought out a divorce in Court and an appointment with a paralegal to complete our petition. God told me to wait and I called it off and told my husband if we could stay separated but not divorce until I felt emotionally ready and he agreed. But I kept praying for my restoration or if it was in his will for us to divorce then for strength to accept it. Always pray for His will and not yours. About 2 months later he sent me a message asking if we could try to be together again. It was rocky and I wanted to leave but God kept saying “be still and know that I am God.” And lo and behold He is. The biggest miracle of my entire life so far. Restoring my marriage. Healing me and my husband because we both needed healing. I continue to pray every day to keep it that way. Neither my husband or I are the same people. We are better people and therefore now a better couple. Ask God for strength and ask for His will to be done with your marriage and for him to give you His peace that passes all understanding. If you haven’t seen the movie “war room,” you should watch it. It’s about a woman praying for the restoration of her marriage but it’s the same for men. Both sexes need to pray for their spouse every day. Even while things are good in the marriage. The devil wants nothing more than to destroy your marriage. He comes to “ kill, steal and destroy.”

@Lillian jan I would love some help. We have a good friendship while still married but he still reminds me we are separated . He has asked for a divorce but I got on my knees and prayed and he hasn’t brought it back up but still separated. It’s hard

You poor thing, God is imaginary. Praying is not magic. It is thinking. It can be whispering . Its is not magic. Thinking and whispering do not fix things. God is imaginary and that fact is OBVIOUS. Prove me wrong. Pray for god to make you rich. Oh not in his will. Pray for god to heal all the sick children...not in his will either huh. Ok Pray for god to heal a single amputee...pick whomever you want. God is supposed to be all powerful yet he wont it...why? because he is imaginary or lazy or evil. GOd is imaginary. Why not worship KRISHNA or THOR? because you where not born in a region where that was the main god or Because god wants you because your are so special but the other millions of people who are born to other parents aren't. lucky you. god wanted you to believe so he put you in America. OR about a hundred million sperm where thrown at your moms eggs and by luck and chance you where the one who made it to that egg. sounds like an example of survival of the fittest and hedging ones bets but not a design or plan. God is imaginary. prove me wrong.

I feel that as a believer, if a couple lays down & makes baby, they should get married whether or not they “feel” in love. It’s the righteous thing to do. I believe God would bless that marriage. Too many people making babies out of the confines of marriage. It’s not good for society & never has been. We need the family unit in place.
Well it's a mistake we probably almost all of us have done it including me i did that this cause my relationship to be where it is right now but truthfully we must be married when we found love not when when fall into sin.alot of us that are suffering right now, we chose we didnt let God choose for us, since most of us have this particular sin, if we confessed our sins he is faithful enough to forgive us and heal our broken marriages.
have to disagree because there's nothing worse than growing up with parents who don't like each other. That's called a toxic environment and is damaging for the child. The world isn't perfect, but trying to make something perfect when the situation was flawed to begin with is asking for heartache. It's good to have hope but it's also crucial to live in reality

A relationship/marriage without God at the center (=unequally yoked) can easily be attacked by the enemy. God knew why He gave us the 10 commandments. I wish I had come to this conclusion earlier in life. It would have saved me a lot of heartache and trouble.

We never got married that’s where we went wrong , we lived together for almost 7 years together for 8 and everything was good until it wasn’t it was like a tornado came into our life it was awful. I had distant myself from God because of my selfish ways we separated almost two years ago and I pray for him every day my prayer change it went from him restoring us to just blessing him and if I ever did something from for God to forgive me. Dear Lilia, God has taken away my relationship of 7 years, too. As a co-dependent, I made my partner an idol instead of God. Please let go of your relationship addiction and set your eyes on Jesus alone. He knows what you need. Your boyfriend probably had an avoidant attachment style, which is easily matched with an anxious attachment style (co-dependent at worst). The baby with that other lady won't change his emotional childhood trauma. You both need healing because you can't have a healthy relationship without having one with the Lord first. @@leonardwradley4870 God is not imaginary. He does things according his will. Here is what it means: whatever is written in the bible, that's exactly what he will do. If he promised healing, provision, restoration...that's what he will do. If you ask him to give you someone's husband/wife, or kill someone for you,etc...He will never do it because he has never promised to give you things the wrong way.

As I listen to this story and read people's comments I am crying because I know and understand the deep unbearable pains of separation. Yes there were times I want to give up too as I can no longer carry it alone. My family and friends just tells me to give up and leave it but my heart cannot do it. I ask for prayers. I left my husband January '21 due to his Alcoholism making our marriage unhealthy. We had barely spoken, until recently when I find out he filed for divorce. Asking for prayers that God deliver my husband, change his mind set, cancel the filing, reconcile/restore our marriage. I always thought that since I started off my marriage with sin and fornication, now it wouldn’t work but you can start in the wrong place and maybe still end up somewhere a little better if you just have faith in Him. He is a miracle worker. I hope I can fall in love again with my spouse because I don’t see him as the “man of my dreams”. I’m not attracted to him anymore and his mannerisms have completely pushed me away and turned me off. He isn’t the ideal person I imagine in my head. Two major things the Scripture talks about. 1. Holiness 2. Humbleness Lots of marraiges can be saved if there is a humbleness. But also people enter into marraiges with their brokenness. That's is called Past UNRESOLVED Traumas. When you work through those traumas that causes troubles in the marraige, you can be healed. So your marraige. Get into christian recovery group, understand that each one has UNRESOLVED CHILDHOOD GROWING up traumas and when you process them with the right tools, you can be healed.

I will trust God in what is left of my marriage. I can't afford counceling for one visit let alone a year. I have been out of work for two years and see no end in sight. I am know God will fix this.
I absolutely know that God can restore my marriage of 33 years any time He wants. What I don't understand is why He doesn't. It's been a long hard road the entire time. Every 5-6 years we struggle and go through counseling. This last time, I have finally hit a wall and decided that I'm done. I am admitting that we're never going to fix this and God evidently has forgotten about us. I am sure it's a result of sin. (We don't have adultery, step children, financial problems, career problems, or abuse.) He stops caring about me and I get upset and jealous of the time he spends with his brother and friends who are at our house every day for hours. I'm wandering and lost. I don't know what to do. Right now, we're semi-separated. I'm in a mother-in-law's suite in our house. I don't want to divorce because it would devastate our children's inheritance that we are building. I'm not asking for prayer. I feel like God has turned away from us.
God told me the same also, WAIT Psalm 46 :10 "Be still and know that i am God." My wife walked out of our marriage and left me. I feel so alone at times but what else can i turn to except stand on the promises of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.
