I feel like some commenters have not been fans of you for an extended period of time. Some are sounding rude in some cases in the way they are expressing themselves in writing at least. You like to have fun with your hair and experiment. You’re not saying you’re a hairdresser or asking for professional advice. People need to calm down 🙄 oh and btw, I love these updates! Just seeing you more often reminds me of vlogmas. 🎉
I’m a cosmetologist and also mix paint for a living basically and I think you should mix your own brown dye out of the reds and greens and yellows you have, make a rich brown color and don’t dilute it very much and put that over your whole head I think it would turn out so pretty!!!
I think you needed to start with a deeper green on just the copper parts! Whatever, you still look amazing and cant wait to see what's coming up next. ❤
Green was a good idea to be fair, but you cannot expect an even result if you haven't got a consistent base to begin with. If you would have got your hair evenly red before doing the green it would have worked out perfectly fine 🌞 bit I think you have managed to fix it already 🙂👌🏼💛
You need to remove all the layers of color from your hair first. Use Malibu C and get plenty of packets so you can do it twice. Leave it on for longer than the packet says. Wash your hair afterwards. Now you can truly see what colors are left and will know what color you need for correction. I would suggest a level 5 ash brown. Make sure to section your hair, and apply evenly. Deep condition afterward.
Ngl i'm enjoying these small videos bc they remind me of the time i used blue shampoo on blond hair lol. I like just messing around so i can relate to your approach here
color correction doesn't work if u put it all over ur head, since ur hair is so many different shades. u started off with a wildly uneven base, when u put essentially the same dye over all of it, it doesn't fix it it just makes it uneven in a different direction. maybe try a vitamin c treatment, get as much of that green and red out of ur hair as possible, and find a cool toned brown. also make sure the dye ur using is good on blonde hair, a lot of semi permanent natural colors are meant to tone unbleached hair, or hair that's not above a level 8, and rely on there already being some pigment in ur hair to start.
While I cant really see any brown but more like a dark red/ginger, this mix reminds me of the beginning of automn when the green leaves begins to turn redish 🥹🥰
Ok, so, I have natural brown hair (it's actually very dark ashy blonde, not a lot of warmth, but it's so dark that it could count as brown). When I bleached my hair (it was blue originally) and wanted to go back to a natural color, I discovered that bleached hair has to be "filled in" with red/copper tones before dyeing it a dark color again, because it would turn to taupe otherwise. So, I'm suggesting to dye it copper first and then add a dark brown. Of course I know nothing about semi-permanent brown dyes, my hair has been dyed copper permanently since I tried to transition and liked the copper more than anything else.
For sure mixing a bunch of semi permanent colours will give you a brown dye might be a mucky brown but you are just having fun so give it a try for sure
Aww gotta love a hair experiment! Thank you for sharing, I love the journey and yes exactly its all fixable and fine and FUN! i honestly think all the time about color correction with dyes like this and what it will do so i am honestly happy to see the results! I have been a follower and big fan of your for yearssss now and know its gonna be epic regardless how part 3 goes and what you decide to do :) honestly its all individually pretty shades! And you look so beautiful regardless that it almost still looks good 😂 But yes, as some people have mentioned the color correction only works right when the color is only placed on certain parts, or several colors places specificly, so the AF color om the roots seemed great! Then id probably only put SH kiwi on the ginger under parts, and saw what the results were before touching the silver. I also am curious about the carmel toning and the green, i think that should have been done in 2 steps, the green first to cancle out the reds and then carmel after to bring those silvers back to a warm hue. But its all a color theory experiment so i am here for it! ❤❤❤
i honestly really like that shade of green 😅 Why not just go in with a semi permanent cool toned brown dye? It might get rid of most of the craziness since it will be a darker tone?
There is a really great semi permanent hair color that would perfect for what you are looking for, it's called adore and they have beautiful line of brown, and copper browns, one of them is called honey brown and copper brown, also you can add a yellow to it to create the beautiful color, they are pretty cheap priced as well t used to use the amber one good luck with your beautiful hair 🤎👍🏻
Figure out what colors need to changed and with what other colors first. Use a demi permanent color with 10 or 20 % peroxide/developer and tone it that way. Try to match your roots. Don't put on roots when color correcting, but maybe do a root smudge after to blend for demarcation. 🤞🏼🤷🏼♀️
Flashbacks to Anne trying to dye her red hair black and ending up with green. Covering up red is really hard, I've had my (ex-brown, mostly grey by now) hair dyed black for many years and one time I wanted to go back to brown. I ended up very red even though I had it done in a salon. Later I tried a medium brown dye and it just turned black again so I gave up. Guess it's staying black until it turns fully white.
girl thats not brown, thats still red. Youre just not used to seeing natural colors on yourself lol !! Natural colors are so much harder to work with than vibrants imo.
It probably didn’t work because your hair faded a lot compared to the first video of you attempting to dye your hair brown. Honestly I would just use some color oops, a good nursing hair mask, and then go in with the brown you originally wanted.
Sorry girl 😅 but you really need to learn more about Color theory, of course the super light pieces were about to become green, they were practically white 😅 i’m sure you will make this work somehow ✨
Fast det skulle ju också kunna bli väldigt snyggt med flit! Ser ut som en urtvättad fashion färgning med kopparbotten, grön rand och sedan resten grått vilket skulle vara coolt! 😁
I just someone that used a really should blue shampoo and it seemed to work for them! @Aka Aislinn but it might turn purple now that i think of it...ykw maybe for next time lol
thanks for showing the world how miserably you failed 🫶 this is gold, I'm in the middle of a similar journey myself 😂 "but not to worry, I have more dye coming tomorrow" - 😂😂😂 you're great
