Ben I've been following for 4-5 months. Love how you strike the ball, sir! Also appreciate how these videos have no drone shots or stock crappy music. Keep doing what you're doing, my man!
Actually it has been proven that with the pin in you will make more putts. There is one caveat to that, you can't play on a golf course with cheap steel pins. At good golf courses and on the PGA tour they use flags by Par Aide. These flag sticks are made out of fiberglass and they absorb the energy of the golf ball! Even when your butt hits the side of the stick it still goes in the hole. The steel flag sticks repeal the ball and don't absorb the energy so it's possible they would hurt you on a certain side hit. Ben's last putt would have missed whether the flag was in or not,it hit the edge and spun out and around and ended up LEFT. How did hit the pin it would have rejected it to the right side of the hole.
Great content man! Keep making videos like this. But to me its hard to watch.. i live in norway and all my golf-courses are filled with snow and i really want to play watching you play!
Absolutely. You can tell all of his mistakes were the kinds you make when you haven't touched a club in a few months. Mishits. Give him even 2 range sessions and he probably shoots 4-5 shots better.
Ben, Love your videos/shorts; fun to watch. I don't know if you're going pro, but consider this for future content; 1)If you are going pro, video your trek with practice, lessons, exercise, and steps you need to follow to become a pro. 2)You have a great swing form! Looks a lot like a pro! (that's why I listed #1). Start giving instructions or tips to your fans. Your "pause" shorts caught my attention and interest, and I think you have more to give. Look and other channels like @Golfslump and some of the other instructional videos/shorts. You mentioned new content that sounded like you were going to have other golf professionals on your channel. Share your "things you learned" and tips. Being as young as you are, you can be an influencer budding young golfers. Good Luck!! PS: Looking forward to the new content you mentioned in this video...
Nice entertaining video and nice shots by both players but here's a little advice for the four handicapper: Throwing your clubs after every bad swing like a little girl is not a good look for anyone. Grow a pair.
