Oh this'll be a wordy answer, there's no way I could ever pick just one. I loved the idea of Upgrade the most as a kid in the original series, but I think Cannonbolt is my favorite design to come out of it. Upchuck holds a special place in my heart because there was a video game where you could play as him and eat everything and I loved it. Echo Echo had my favorite powers by the time Alien Force came around, and especially once he got his Ultimate. But I loved the way Lodestar talked, same with Brainstorm - instant favorites. I also love turtles and Terraspin has such a unique power set. Once I finally watched Omniverse, Crashhopper became a favorite because bug and I loved his voice. Gravattack probably takes #1 from that series though, he's just too cool. Long answer short, my favorite alien is... Rath. There's no way to argue that he doesn't have the absolute best scenes in the entire series.

@@keeperplays rath is perfection, to the point where when Ben uses humungosaur or four arms instead of him I get bummed . Xlr8 holds a place in my heart near and dear because how can’t he. I must have a thing for blue speedsters since sonic is another obsession of mine lol. Goop is my fav alien force guy and I’m glad they gave him some good moments even if it took an entire season to use him in AF. Amphibian would be my fav from UA if he ever used any of his cool powers and not just shooting electricity. So it’s probably Armadrillo in that spot. Omniverse gave me pesky dust, who I think is super underrated. Wish he was used more but the idea of manipulating dreams as a power is so cool, and I like when the powers aren’t just for fighting

I did level cap to match the champion on entering, which is my standard. I've been trying to lower that limit in some games, but here specifically since their levels don't increase (any order syndrome) and they only have 4 Pokemon, I didn't figure I'd get much experience across the team before facing the champion. I suppose I could have met this half-way by using candies to reach the champion level cap after facing the E4, maybe I'll try that next time.

I'll have to keep it in mind!

Pretty sure it was a tweet from Nintendo of America that said the game takes place entirely within Lumiose City. The trailer leads to that idea as well.

I'm split on this. I kinda like the idea of a "bad" Pokemon being viable because of their Megas giving them a niche. Not all Pokemon are going to be great competitively anyway, but those that aren't can still have something going for them. Especially now that regional varients are a thing. Who's to say we couldn't get a regional Mawile with an evolution, while regular Mawile keeps its Mega? Best of both worlds!

That's more what I meant. Because pokemon like absol are fan favorites but they haven't been touched since they got megas.

It isn't exactly the same, but we do have both Mega Slowbro and Galarian Slowbro - it gives me hope. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Mega Linoone since Galarian Linoone got Obstagoon.
