This is something a little bit different, but I hope you guys enjoy. Today we'll be taking on a hardcore nuzlocke! Not only that though, I'll only be allowed to use SHINY POKEMON!

As a shiny hunter who has spent the last six months hunting one shiny, I think you altering the odds for your run is completely fine. You aren't claiming that they're full odds, so it's fine. I love these runs btw

I wonder if there’s ever been a case where someone gets their first Pokémon game, not knowing hardly anything about Pokémon, chooses their first starter ever, and it’s a shiny. They have no idea, and just assume the sparkle is cuz it was the first Pokémon they got, and since there’s almost no other starter Pokémon in the games, they might think that’s the actual color of the Pokémon.

Good one! Strangely enough, the Breph has done a shiny challenge and released it around the same time! Interesting how you didn't nickname the mons despite this being a nuzlocke. You can also skip duplicate encounters due to the dupes or species clause. 4:40-Magikarp would be considered a gift pokemon, so a static encounter. This is a separate encounter.

@@arcturus4853 It can't normally. They're programed not to be, but the program he used to increase the odds also allows Trainer pokemon to be shiny.

While it is enjoyable to see the determination of someone just coating until they find a shiny, I think everyone can respect that you are a person with a life. 1/1000 odds also ensure that it's a pretty random pokemon you run into.
