I love how as soon as he says “we have five minutes to beat ganon” when the ganon fight starts, there is exactly five minutes remaining in the video

Definitely didn't encounter tech issues every five seconds on the first stream

14:45 btw, if you don't know, this wasn't some sort of ludicrous luck. BotW has one-hit protection, meaning you won't die in one hit if you have full health (though sometimes you die anyways). It's basically the ability Sturdy from Pokémon. Also, fun fact, Master Mode removes this protection! So that's fun.

Love how he just ignores completely that he needed to upgrade his amor twice to get ancient proficiency. The mad man did the challenge anyways lol.

if you think about it, you actually have a decent chance at getting "lucky" with the locations when you teleport randomly. because they had to cram so many things into the map when making this game, and important locations need to be large, if you look at how much space Hyrule Castle, the Lost Woods, Gerudo Town, Zora's Domain, Rito Village and Goron City cover on the map, you have a decent chance of being spawned there, especially for Hyrule Castle

my absolute favorite part about this video is Eric’s commentary that’s edited in afterwards, that plus the beautiful Link visuals give a nice personal touch

imagine being Purah, Link finally re-emerges out of his 100yr sleep and you're excited to instruct him on what to do and then he just blinks out randomly again

Legend has it pointcrow did not show the dark beast ganon fight because he never won, but died. Only those who watched the stream would know if this truly happened, but all who watched that stream mysteriously vanished from the face of the Earth later that day, none left to confirm or deny, to this very day we still do not know if he truly won, only pointcrow himself would know the answer to that…

He completely forgot to get ancient proficiency. You need to upgrade armor TWICE for the ancient proficiency buff.

Honestly surprised you didn’t go for the cutscene instakill on windblight, feel like the time taken to set that up could have been a huge save in the long run.

I do wish there was a swipe on the screen or something to make it a bit more obvious because suddenly the timer below changes. I think it'd just show how much time went into this 23 min video a lot clearer because I know you spent many, and I mean MANY hours on this challenge! Well done!

The thing with this challenge is you can be incredibly unlucky and get teleported into death mountain, or get incredibly lucky and get teleported somwhere really good.

I had found this out a little while ago, but if you want the best horse possible for a playthrough (even if it's just casual) there's always a horse with 4 strength, 3 speed, and 4 stamina at the back woods behind the stables you go to before meeting Impa. When you get to the stables, stay on it's right side as you go into the forest and go to the very back where there's a herd of three or four horses. The little clearing with the horses is also by a river where bokoblins are staying on the other side on the beach. The horses will always follow one leader, the leader horse is the horse with the best possible stats for a regular horse. I found it always is like that with every playthrough I've done, I just wanted to share it cause I found it interesting lol.

as an additional ruleset for this id allow teleporting ti divine beasts, on the condition that you make it clear you are going to do so before the next teleport and teleport instantly after the auto teleport, no going back on your word, you spawn in and its straight to the beast, even if you teleported directly into the korok forest or a labyrinth or any other amazing teleport

Just wanna say how much i love pointcrow simply because he makes content that is easy to consume, especially for my ocd brain that is hyper specific about what is relaxing or not

I mean, you can easily beat each individual Divine Beast fight within 5 minutes, for the Divine Beast itself it doesn't matter because you can continue later, and each Blight is possible in 5 minutes too. So Divine Beasts are easily possible, even if you disregard speedrun strats. Honestly, I think on this run you generally don't quite realize how much stuff you can split up over multiple teleports. Literally everything that isn't a cutscene or a boss fight, you can just continue when you teleport there again. Also fun fact: You can talk to Robbie without ever having been to Hateno.

The mod breaks at the end because you get teleported out of the sanctum to fight dark beast Gannon, so the mod is like, “wait... we already teleported link before the timer stopped? ok i think that’s good enough”
