Yeah, its crazy how it held up. They could re-release it if they just upscaled the resolution. I'd say it rivals indie games of today.

On SNES, I used to be able to beat the game on the highest difficulty, with no continues, with everyone except Jago.

Nice video and clutch ending! Those clutch wins always feel great, especially against the final boss! I only beat the super Nintendo once or twice on all-stars hardest difficulty with Orchid. I did something similar with using charging attacks. I start off with the cartwheel kicks and right away use the yellow tiger charge. I've done this to avoid combo breakers. About a dozen times, I have used one to continue with Orchid going to eyedol and then use TJ to easily win against eyedol.

Thanks, I'm so happy this played out so perfectly haha. I do have a video on Orchid's 4 hit combo, you can beat the whole game using the tiger charge and backflip lol. Its weird how this game has holes in the AI.

That combo breaker on Sabrewulf was SO epic. I've pulled off my share of critical-health combo breakers and everyone watching the screen in the arcade would lose their minds lol You can't replicate the feeling of having an excited crowd watching you. The developers definitely pumped up the volume on the voice clips for KI - you could hear "C-c-c-c-combo breaker!" from across the arcade LOL

rooting for you so much vs Eyedol :) this is one of my favourite games ever. I had the snes version. i spent so many hours on that training option. i remember whenever i picked Spinal i would turn into a teleporting all over the place SuperSaiyan with perfects when I was fighting my friends. You could see the despair in their eyes :D man loved this game so much.

@@KillerArcadeGames Yeah man, I used to go to the arcade and I would only play KI. I had a KI strategy guide, and I would stay up all night memorizing all the characters moves. Openers, auto doubles, linkers, enders, ultras, ultimates and humiliations. I still remember some of it to this day. When it came out for the SNES, it was like a dream come true! I still own a SNES copy but my SNES is in storage right now. Watching this makes me want to go dig it out. I can only imagine how cool it is to have a cabinet like you do. You put a lot of hard work and effort in to make that one happen. That’s pretty amazing!

I remember playing the SNES version where you could launch an Awesome Combo right after a hit with Cinder's trail blaze charge with middle punch. Using this at all opponents you could beat the game by using only one button.

Fulgore is a good character to use for a 1 button run. He can nearly do a full combo with just the heavy kick, everything but an ender. I mean, you can still do a heavy plasma charge (slide dash? I don't remember what it's called) and it'll stop the attack, but it's not really an ender move.

I love Killer Instinct so much i spent 500$ on an xbox one back in 2015 just to play it. now i have about 170 games, but Ki is always my go-to game, besides Forza Horizon 4

I remember on the super nes, this was the only way we could defeat the last boss on the hardest difficulty. And if you remember you only got the character cut scene if you defeated Eyedol on the hardest diff. Sad we only got to see one characters outro.

I didn't document all of it. At the time, I didn't have a channel. When I was a kid I’d play Killer Instinct with Cinder and I could beat the whole game with forward punch, also with Spinal, it was on a Super Nintendo I’m not sure of the difficulty.

Its very fair AI compared to MK2. I'm not great at KI2 but I can make it through. Its weird how different KI2 is, I Just can't get in to that game.

Signaling to the super human clone of himself off camera that he's ready to make the switch. @ 00:30 obviously not his hand the pigment is off must be the clones arm.. no clone is perfect buddy. Trust me.😌 @ 1:05 The camera move. C'mon man do I have to spell it out for you? It's obviously his clone has inverted time around him just like in the documentary TENET and played the game backwards in a forwards reversed motion for us to be fooled by. Nice try, Pal. So don't YOU mean 2 buttons? You used block some will say technically you used 2 buttons. Not sure if you do nothing or hold back to block but it is another action you performed. Especially if you have to pull back to block if you do nothing to block then I'll agree with you but if you have to pull back then it's a 2 button game, sorry 😞

I didn't consider blocking as a button since its done with the joystick. I'm sure it would be far more difficult to do it without blocking. I could probably do it on easy settings but doing it on the hardest would be torture.

... technically Up, Down, Left, and Right are buttons. I can claim to beat te game using NO buttons and just have someone else play the game and take over when he beats it. Pshh.. Besides, I can beat that crappy game AND get an Ultra using YOUR 1-button scheme
