I mean, this run is pretty much a lore accurate Yellow. She has an ability to immensely power up her Pokemon when she wants, and it played out well here in the form of Omni's multi omniboost that cleared the battlefield with ease. It's a rare chance to see a fellow Yellow's appreciator like you. Really enjoyed the video.
Thank you! I remember as a kid I thought Yellow preventing her Pokemon from evolving was stupid, especially that Golem was such a cool design but Graveller looks so goofy, but now having grown up, I can appreciate it much more.
I loved the old pokemon yellow manga. Yellow is still to this day one of my favorite characters of all time and I'm sad we've never seen them again in the pokemon series, but seeing little love letters like this to a niche character is just so heartwarming.

This was really fun. I especially appreciate the walks down memory lane about the book fair. I remember I was in first grade in 1997 and absolutely begged my parents for enough money to buy "The Official Pokemon Handbook" at the book fair. They agreed as long as I bought a "real" book too lol. Good times!

Honestly loosing butterfree was just because you're trying to hard to just push through like a normal play through. You have compound eyes, play around powder strats, love all this content based around the manga teams though 🖤🔥
That was great! I just finished a Shapphire's manga team hardcore nuzlocke on Emerald (actually grinding to challenge Steven rn, with some twists) and your saga definitely inspired me! It was a really fun run. I first intended to do Yellow's team too, but didn't get excited enough with going through the FireRed/LeafGreen games again... Really liked this new type of video, I've seen some big poketubers doing runs without acknowledge their fails and seems so unreal. Really cool to see the way you think/plan for your battles too, I found it very similar to mine's! Keep the great content, I'm looking forward to the next (also giving free Shapphire Lockes tips)!
This video was amazing, I always enjoy it when we use a team which is not that much overpowered and completes the run , because it gives as more and more opportunities for using different strategies .I really enjoyed it.

I'd also like to mention I do usually watch your non-manga vids (though I haven't watched the Twitch Plays yet), so don't be afraid to experiment once in a while!
I’ll keep throwing out DPA runs till my thumbs are blue, Diamond or Platinum as Mitsumi. She’s my favorite PokeGirlso (aka, Best Dawn) so seeing her demolishing both Team Galactic and the League would mean the world.
I'll definitely throw that into consideration! I like to start with the main character so I'd go with Diamond first, but right now I was torn between Crystal, Sapphire, or Diamond.

I find Lance’s role as antagonist funny considering it’s basically the opposite of my fangame’s plot, as the main antagonist, who was an admin in Team Flare and attempts to resurrect their plans, hates him. His daughter was also one of the Dragon’s Den trainers and is your rival

I love the video, Yellow is one of my favourites from the manga, this challenge would have been fun in Let's Go Pikachu so you could ride Dody, but the nuzlocke part would be mostly lost since that game is so easy

Great video! I'm playing through Gen I Yellow with this team right now (no Nuzlocke though). Had to skip over some of the manga panel talk as I'm also currently reading that arc for the firs time (Vs Dragonair Part II!) Part of me would like to see you move beyond Gen III but man...DPPt don't exactly have great teams (or teams that are easy to make, like Munchlax, Shieldon in Diamond, Dugtrio and Tauros in Pearl,...) and in Gen V both Black and Blake use legendaries and White's team would also provide a serious challenge. I don't know how easy it'd be to record the 3DS games, but X feels like a solid, fun team.

I wanna do every dex holder! Some characters like Whitley may be harder, she only has 3 Pokemon! But definitely plan to attempt them, or at least involve them in another team.
I searched online for existing Yellow sprites and scaled them down to the 96x96 GBA requires. I can't release the ROM or that would be against Nintendo rules😫
