Wow dude amazing video, this type of runs that come with a random weapon from start to finish is something I'll always enjoy in any game, and you just make the video 10x better, keep up the good work! And I don't know if this mod can give you mercenary weapons too but a run with Krauser's bow could be cool in my opinion
My guess as to why the Matilda can't quick turn is because it's from RE2 and RE2 does not have the quick turn... Probably not the case but it's the best I got.

Thanks to you I put in another 60 hours after losing interest. The randomizer is probably the best mod along side the HD mod. It really reignited my passion for re4 while waiting for the remake
I love the Matilda… for about till “Del Lago”. Like SERIOUSLY! Matilda will BURN your Ammo when you JUST use the Matilda. You’ll be done with all your saved up ammo halfway through the village.
1:50 not only that. it's the only special/new game plus weapon that doesn't have any infinite ammo/unlimited uses like seriously? this gun is already bleeding ammo even with 100 bullets upgrade. why couldn't they make it like other special weapons? i bet if it had infinite ammo, people would have liked it more. for real though if you don't know matilda is TECHNICALLY even more powerful than red9 because 2.5 ( max firepower for one bullet ) × 3 round rapid fire= 7.5 which is one more than red9 with 6.5
Is it just me or do I feel like almost any weapon which he can't afford to shoot very often will look similar to this run? Since so much of the run is gated by Salazar whereas the rest of the game is almost completely runnable/knifeable with alot of the ammo saving strats we saw in this video The only really interesting ones might be the mine deployer (if that can even damage salazar?) or the PRL412 or something? If that's even capable of doing damage with the full charge I dont recall Great video nonetheless though
@@waifurunstv I guess you just make the run look too easy hahaha, maybe any non-standard weapon will give you some difficulties; I cant imagine the bolt action sniper being a very friendly gun for example :D
My favourite gun from the game and while I wont claim to have beaten the game with it alone, i did go far. The issue is ammo. Youre going to chew through it quickly. Even with continued upgrades.
You don't do a previous play through without using any handgun ammo at all to save up a thousand rounds or so before starting a Matilda run? You're small-time!
what randomiser you use? and how to make it randomise? i have a this randomiser, but it only randomises enemies. not my or merchants inventory, nor the prices. could you lend some advice?
Bro... it's been YEARS and only now, thanks to your thumbnail, I realized that the Matilda is Resident Evil 2's handgun... oh my god I feel so ashamed of myself I actually wanna die.
I’d love to see this run again but with the ability to upgrade the Matilda to see if it’s more viable with upgrades, or if it makes crowd control even harder
Hey! @WaifuRunsTV I've been trying to do a regular run with only the shotgun and it's soo hard, it'd be awesome if you tried the base Shotgun un-upgraded with the randomizer for sure!

I don't know how people run through RE4 so quickly. Takes me like a good 8 to 10 hours yet I'll defeat RE3 Remake in an hour and 17 minutes, as well as get S+ on all scenarios for RE2 remake
The trick with RE4 - which the Remake kept in place for the 5 hour runs - is never stop moving forward. Literally. The game will adjust to make sure you can survive through the least exploration.
@@kiratherenegade1561 The standard NG Speed runs for RE4 Remake are sub 3 hours. Professional is going to be an interesting one to run though, least for me
@@SkyBlackNinja Exactly. I've managed Standard New Game down to 4Hr30 or something akin to it - using the Inf Chicago Sweeper strategy. I don't think sub 2hr is possible though. We may already be seeing the maximum time save.
