I love these randomiser videos. Also, slight correction, minecart skip does indeed work in VR! You can even do it in the default first-person action transition mode. They may have patched it out but it did at least work at one point and is used in speedruns.

I'd love to see you rerun the same seed without a limit just to compare time

If you have a low number of rounds (or zero) loaded into the magazine of the rifle enemies will drop rifle ammo like crazy. This works for all ammo types. When I play casually I will keep a low amount of ammo loaded into the bolt action rifle for a few areas to farm rifle ammo and then the same for the shotgun. I usually end up with a fat stack of ammo by the time I get to castle. The trick is to only reload your guns when you absolutely have to and then keeping the magazine half full or less.

I would love to see a video of you doing a normal randomizer but having to kill every single enemy without any glitches, see how you make every weapon go as far as possible.

My 2 fav guns are definitely the riot gun and the mine thrower. The mine thrower is so fun and the explosions are super satisfying, especially a direct hit! I hope it's just as satisfying in the remake!

7:41 In my last playthrough of RE4, I entered Saddler's fight with, no joke, 50 magnum rounds, plus the 14 I had in my Killer 7, because I just used the TMP, knife, and starting pistol through the whole game. Even against bosses.

I'm so glad I've stumbled upon this channel

For these one weapon only things, can you test something to see if works properly? I tried recently doing only a Red9 playthrough and got random handgun ammo from enemies now and then, mostly 10 bullet packs with the rare 15 bullet packs. Most of the time I only had a reserve of under 50 extra handgun bullets in my inventory, although when I was running out RNG would drop some ammo packs so I never truly ran out. But at the castle I was struggling with the shield guys so I got a Punisher pistol too. Now throughout the game I've noticed my random ammo packs are mostly 15 bullet packs with frequent 20 bullet packs, and I'm swimming in handgun ammo . So my thinking is if you have two of the same type of weapon (i.e. pistols) in your inventory, the game thinks you need more ammo and gives you it. So if you have all three shotguns in your inventory you get lots of shotgun shells maybe?

Handgun ammo stops dropping after you have 100. I learned this after getting a ton of it dropping when I was using the Chicago typewriter, I guess the game is programmed to give you handgun ammo just so you don’t get soft locked too much.

Picking up only handgun ammo so that you can get a higher chance for other ammo does work, you just need to pick up a lot of it. I'm doing a handgun only run and I picked up almost 900 handgun rounds before it started mostly dropping other ammo. I had to basically pick up only handgun ammo for a whole game before starting this runa

the reason chat thought the scythe was swung at you is because your camera and the chat box were blocking that part of the screen, I missed it the first time and thought you were crazy, and only when I went back could I see the scythe spinning away into the distance just above your head in the camera

What do you mean sniper ammo is rare? In my playthroughs it's one of the most common ammo types I find.

How about giving some love to the original first sniper rifle? It is slow, but the damage when fully upgraded is close to a magnum. I took down Salazar with 7 shots from it.

All the speed runs become less fun to watch when you always got for the striker shot gun glitch. Makes the randomness mute and trivializing certain parts of the game. I’ve watched three of “gun only” run to see you don’t the same glitch over and over.
